I have worn this everyday since I got it. I love the versatility of the style! I've even opened it up and wore it as a cardigan a a time or two! I CANNOT believe the whole world hasn't gotten on the merino wool band wagon! When I first opened my package I thought the material felt like some scratchy synthetic fiber, but when wearing it, it's not scratchy at all, it breathes, it drapes well, it feels like being wrapped in nature! I love this material! My first impression was totally wrong! I've not washed my dress now for almost 2 weeks other than a little spot treating and it looks and smells fresher than you could imagine! My brain is blown away! I'm a homeschooling mom of 5, so I need something in my life to be easy and thoughtless. This dress is it.
I'm 5'9" and this hits right at and slightly above my knee. I will need to wear bike shorts under it in the summer because the buttons don't go all the way to the bottom so it's like having about a 3 in slit in the front and I am pretty careful to dress modestly. I'm a pear shape (40, 33, 44) and the large is not tight and drapes nicely and no buttons gape. The waist is oddly placed on the dress. It's very high. I don't mind it, at first it felt weird to have the pockets high, but I'm glad they're not right at the hip, adding bulk to my widest area. I was hoping to layer a skirt over the dress and use the dress top like a blouse, but because the waist is so high it looks weird when I've tried that. I like the slight 'dolman' sleeve. It isn't tight under my pits so I feel like it's not making me sweat or soaking up sweat, yet the sleeves don't look or feel weird if I throw a sweater over top. The top is almost too low cut and it my chest was much bigger I'd probably fight showing cleavage. As it is, I'm just careful or wear a cami bra for modesty. I agonized over which dress to buy and so far I'm very glad I chose this one!

The perfect dress that's great to wear alone or layered and styled up or down. The cut of the sleeves allows for various shoulder widths (mine are broader and don't fit in other styles like Maggie) to fit without issue. The length is easy to wear without needing shorts under it yet still works over pants or leggings. The material is soft and drapes nicely. The defines waist accentuates my shape and the neck hits in a place right between complete modesty and showing cleavage. I tried black and berry pink. Went with the black because I felt the other was just too much pink at once. Im 5'6", 147ish, 36/30/40 with a little extra roundness in my belly. I adore this dress!

This is my first experience with wool and I can’t say enough about how comfortable this dress is! I absolutely love it. I was a little nervous that a dark solid would pick up every little thread or hair (we have several dogs in the house) and I would be constantly picking stuff off it but nothing shows on this dress. It’s truly amazing. I am definitely a happy satisfied customer!

I ordered both the XS and S and chose the XS as it was more form-fitting and a bit dressier for my purposes. Love the length. It was a bit tight in the waist but has relaxed with wear. This is one of my favorite Wool& dresses. I also bought it in Berry pink.

I've tried almost all of the Wool& dress styles and found I don't care for the swing styles or super fitted styles. I have and love Summer Midi (M), Fiona (M), and Ellie (L).
Amalya is just what I was looking for and hoping for! When I saw the bright pink I just had to try it, because it's one of my favorite colors! I got size L to accommodate my hips without looking too tight and pulling at the buttons. I usually wear between M and L depending on the style, so I would say this fits true to size for me.
I knew what to expect for the thickness of the fabric, since I saw it is the same as my other dresses. I love the shape and style of this one, and after trying it multiple ways with various wardrobe staples, I'm very pleased with the versatility of it. Works great as a dress and as a duster/cardigan.
I was worried the dolman sleeves would be bulky or awkward for layering, but they are just the right amount of drape and still look lovely underneath or over other layers. I also love the way the waist is accentuated but not elastic.
Berry pink Amalya is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Just what I needed to brighten up my closet for spring!
