Very comfy & soft

Somewhere between a jogger and a sweatpant, these are really perfect for lounging. They are so warm and comfy I keep wearing them for PJs and then not taking them off the next morning. I got blue and love the color. I have so much black so I wanted to try something different. I am 5’6” and about 180 pounds and the size large fits well, not too tight. I usually wear medium in the leggings but wanted them loungey and not snug, so large is perfect for me. These are warm but of course the wool makes them breathable. I have washed them and hung to dry and they are still perfect. Perfect addition to my wool wardrobe!

The waist is too large.

I have the old style of the Aspen jogger pant. The waist in the large is just right. The new style says the legs were made wider, which is fine. But the waist is also 2.5 inches wider, and that's NOT OK. The Large is supposed to be 17.25" but instead it measures 18.5". I really wanted the marionberry color, too, but it's going back.

Follow-up: pilling

Bought these 7mo ago and really love the fit and look, however, they are pilling quite a bit, unlike other wool& pants I’ve bought (axis leggings, rosso pants). Not sure why these are the only ones prone to pilling…and I wear them quite a bit less than the others, which are my go-to work pants. It’s the first wool& product I’ve had durability issues with.

My go-to lounge pant

I've been wearing two pairs of Aspen joggers since they were first released and love them, especially for chilly winter nights. Love the pockets and the cozy french terry fabric.

After a couple years of regular wear they are a little more relaxed and there is a tiny bit of pilling in the thighs but considering my thighs can wear through pants, I'm considering this a win that they've held up so well after heavy use like this. I used a fabric shaver to remove the pills on the thighs and they look good as new. Totally recommend them.
