This was my reward dress for the 100 day challenge. I was very unsure of a maxi length dress on my body, but I absolutely love it! The fit is not to snug but also not too loose. The fabric is lightweight and breezy, but still plenty warm enough for my Ohio winter weather when paired with a long sleeved tee and leggings.
I was hesitant to order this dress, as I am somewhat pear shaped, and want sure about the for around my hips. It drapes beautifully, though! The material is thinner than my Sierra and Eliza dresses - about like the Camellia, but not see through at all. The color, ocean teal, is very nice! I'm not used to wearing maxi dresses as daytime wear, so going to need to practice a bit with styling. Looking forward to wearing it in vacation to Mexico next month!
I'm 5'2", 135 pounds and ordered a medium. Based on bust size (39") I should have ordered a large, but opted for a size down based on what others had said. I'm glad I did. The fit is good, but the armholes are too big (shows a lot of bra) so I need to have it altered and its about 3" too long, so need to have it hemmed and the side slits adjusted. I think I'll be super happy with it once it's altered, but wish I didn't have to pay someone to alter it after paying $150 for it.
I have 3 dresses from Wool& and love all 3. Since I am overweight I was a little worried about getting the slim fit dress. But I love it. After covering my large chest it slims in around my torso and doesn’t make me look bigger than I am. How about some red, cream, and green colors?
I loved my Purple Sage Audrey Maxi all Spring and Summer so I knew I needed the Teal for the Fall. This dress has the most flattering neck line for jewelry and a fun slit for the leg. I still pair it with my Axis Crop leggings because I feel physically better in head-to-toe wool.
