I never in a million years thought I was an $80 shirt type of person. I was looking up tips for packing light, and I quickly found myself down the rabbit hole of merino wool. I became so curious about the properties of this fiber, I finally purchased this shirt after weeks of debating. As soon as I put this shirt on, I had no regrets over paying more. Quality makes a serious difference. I was a little worried that the fit wouldn't be flattering on me. I don't have a big bust, so sometimes clothes just hang on me. This shirt gets it just right. Fitted enough to be flattering, loose enough to be comfortable. I live in a humid climate, and I sincerely noticed a difference with the merino wool. It doesn't retain any scent after I cool off if I got too warm outside like some of my other clothes do. It's really nice feeling fresh and comfortable all day. I purchased this shirt feeling like I splurged. Now I think I'd rather pay extra for a few well made pieces that will last a few years.
I really love this t-shirt. It is comfy, looks great, and the color is just perfect and goes well with a lot of my other articles of clothing. I bought a large, I am 5’ and 160lbs, 36c-31-41. My arms are not skinny. This size fits great and it is still a bit roomy. If I had gone down to a medium, it would have been nicely fitted but too tight around the arms. I have worn it about 5 times, maybe 6, and it still doesn’t need to be washed. That is impressive for me because when I wear a blouse or shirt thats synthetic, I can only get one wear out of it. Even with some wool blends, most I can get is two wears before it needs to be washed or refreshed. I have not washed it yet, so I will update my review if I see any further need to add to it. But all in all, it is perfect and I plan to buy more colors. I also wish wool& had dresses in this 100% wool fabric. I have only bought sleeveless dresses from wool& because of this.
Love this shirt. A little more substantial than the other 80% wool tops that are slightly thinner material. This 100% wool top wears just as well as all the other tops they sell. It washes well, but needs washing rarely if you air it after wearing. The dark “purple” color is beautiful.
I like the neckline of this shirt better than all the others they have here. As an older woman I don’t care for the extremely wide openings of the dresses and tops this company makes… except for the Maggie dress, which has a nice narrow neckline. This top has the best neckline of all.
The other difference with this from the other lighter fabric tops, is that this 100% wool top fits a little snugger over the hips. That is great for a layering piece. The other tops here have a looser, not fitted, drape over the hips. This too is more sporty than dressy. I plan to buy a few more in other colors.
Love this company. Have many dresses and tops and wear them all the time.
The quality of this tee was beautiful, but the color was yellow, not white. I would repurchase if it came in a soft white. The size chart was spot on.
I love the pretty ivory color. It is buttery and neutral. The cut is perfect. But, the armpit has a hole in it and I will need to figure out returning it.
This is why I gave it 3/5 stars
Hi Andrea, oh no! We definitely wouldn't expect a new shirt to have a hole. Please email email@example.com with a couple photos so our team can make it right. Thanks!
