My navy axis were so comfortable that I decided to get another color. Since black is back ordered, I decided to go with gray in the same size. The gray fit a bit snugger than the navy ones (I have only worn the navy twice) hoping for a bit more relaxing from these gray ones. I wear a L in Frankie and axis. Sized up to an XL in the Frame culottes to allow the pockets to fit the way I wanted them to. I carry less weight in my bottom half than in my top half with a longer torso and shorter legs for my height
These leggings are perfect, especially for these transitional "sprinter" and "sprummer" days we've been having. I'm not ever cold and it take a bit before I get hot. The fit is great...only slightly too long for my short legs.
I love my new Axis mid-weight leggings! I pretty much haven't taken them off since the arrived a few weeks ago. I am about 5'7" and 185lbs with wide hips (46in) and decided to go with the Large even though the measurements put me at an XL (I have done this same thing with all Wool& clothing and so far that has been a good choice) and they fit very well. Nice high waist and come right to my ankles. At first I felt they were a little tight, but they did relax a bit after wearing them for a few days and most of the time I forget that they are even on my body. The best part is that I can wear them for days on end with no bad smells. My synthetic leggings usually cause oder within a few hours.
I'm very happy with these leggings and could wear them every day.
I've worn wool leggings from a number of places, and these are definitely the nicest. I ordered an XL black pair and ordered the gray ones in L. I am always between XL and L with wool&, so I'm often not sure which ones to get. The L are definitely the better fit, though the XL work okay too. But if you're like me and between sizes, I'd say get the smaller size.
