our Brooklyn Wrap Dress comes with a few advantages.

I’m only 5 foot 2.5, so I didn’t worry about those comments too much.
Turns out I should have. Very nice fabric, but I basically use it for a nightgown.
When I first got this dress I thought it was perfect. It's very cute, the fit is flattering, and it's comfortable. I wore it around for a few days, washed it, then wore it for a few days on vacation. Within two weeks and one wash the fabric started pilling. It's not terrible, but for the price I hoped for material that wouldn't pill, like the Rowena which developed zero pilling during my 100 day challenge. I still wear the dress, but it definitely doesn't have the clean, shiny look that it came with and I don't feel comfortable dressing it up because it just looks like a casual knit dress.
This is my second wool& dress and it is thinner but also softer than my Rowena. I love the loose, comfortable sleeves and the fact that it is reversible. It is pretty short, so I wouldn't wear it to work without thick tights/leggings, but I am used to that at my height. I wear between a small and a medium, but I am tall and have a long torso, so I usually size up. However, even in the medium, the waist hits above my natural waist. I may order another size up next time for extra length, though the fit is really nice and drapey otherwise.
This dress is very flattering and comfortable. I sweat a lot, and this dress keeps me dry. I’m three months postpartum and it’s easy to breastfeed in this dress. I’m not sure if it’ll continue to fit as I lose weight. I might have to downsize.
Comfortable, soft, and easy to wash! Easily my new favorite item in my wardrobe.
This is a versatile dress. Easy to wear as is. It also makes a good tunic to wear over skirts and leggings. The fabric holds us well and dries quickly. It fits me more like an empire style and I would prefer if it came down to my natural waist.
I do have 3 Brooklyn dresses so the short waist was not a deal breaker.
This is an incredibly flattering neckline for my figure. I love how it creates a longer looking neck and flattering for a fuller bust. But, the dress is so short, it probably should be called a tunic instead. Mid-thigh is not my goal in a dress (Photo was taken above me, but adjusting for perspective, you can see it really is mid-thigh). The fabric is soft and buttery and breathable. The blue color is gorgeous in person. Add 4 inches to the hemline and I would have kept this dress in a heartbeat!
I know the Brooklyn is a really popular style dress at Wool& and I wanted to try it. Unfortunately, my pear-shaped figure and small bust did not work with this style. It was also shorter in length than I like to wear. But it is a lovely dress. I wish it had worked for me!
Thanks for your feedback, Roxanne! We're sorry this style didn't work with your body type, but hope you can find a different style that is perfect for you!
I had previously gotten a Sierra and loved the thick fabric, the Brooklyn is much thinner which is probably noted in ways I do not understand. I like the fit and sized down. It has some stretch and is super flexible. I am very curvy, huge bottom, 5 feet tall and it hits at my knees. I have had it about a week so far and it is holding up well.
I have this dress in blue and black and I live in them. They always look fresh, fun and classy.
