I ordered this dress in the pumpkin in a long. I loved the color and the fabric (excellent quality!) but like some other reviews have noted, I found the dress to be too shapeless from the chest down. I could have made this work with belting and layering, but for the money I wanted it to be a stand alone garment as well. As I said, quality of the fabric and sewing was outstanding. Will definitely explore other wool& options, but this one had to go back.
Dress fit me very well, although there was variation in the same style different colors and even once between same dress style same color so if it is a little loose or tight, let them know or try another same size it may differ...
I am 5' 10½', 150lbs, 34B
I returned this because I needed it to be a bit longer. I don't mind something shorter for casual, but when I need to be dressed up more, I prefer my knees be covered, at least mostly. And unfortunately even the tall size didn't cover my knees. Otherwise it really was fine. Although honestly I didn't analyze anything else really because I could tell immediately that the length was a deal breaker, so nothing else mattered. So I snapped a couple pictures for review and sent it back.
This was just my personal preference, though. I don't think it would be as big a deal for most people.
I ended up going with the Summer midi, which is great!
Camellia is lightweight, comfortable, and drapes beautifully, except at the pockets. Unfortunately, the pockets are sewn on the seam and don't lie flat, breaking the design line.
I plan to try some of the other dress styles.
So light is weight you might mistake it for tee shirt material. It looks nice on by itself. However I purchased it for an expected trip to Northern Europe in the fall hoping to be able to wear it as a jumper with a woven shirt underneath for added versatility. It should pack well, not wrinkle and be able to be washed if necessary. But I don’t think it will be quite warm enough and woven shirts don’t look great under it. ( I can wash woven, non-wrinkle shirts well when traveling, knit shirts take much longer to dry when relying on sink washing)Also due to the weight of fabric the pockets droop when holding anything except the very lightest items. Hoping there might be a heavier weight in the fall!
