I love this dress. The colour is gorgeous. The fit was beautiful. I bought in medium, my usual size is medium. Unfortunately I think I have some kind of allergy to wool - I found the neck itchy. I find some wool products itchy but was hoping this mix would be better. So unfortunate. I love this dress.
Canadians though, be aware. The dress, with the exchange rate, cost me $171.39 CDN. Unexpectedly, there were taxes/tariffs charged at the border...and an additional charge of $32.23 when the dress was delivered, bringing the total for the dress to over $203 CDN. The mail lady told me she doesn't always see these kinds of charges so it's unclear whether every package will be charged, but know that you can always refuse the package at the door, and Canada Post will return to sender.
I chose Camellia because it was sleeveless and the pockets were hidden. This makes the dress extremely versatile. I can change it up from casual to elegant in the blink of an eye. The material is soft and light enough to layer. It belts easily and is simple to style.
I tried the popular Sierra as my reward dress but it was not for me. The Camellia I like the lighter weight fabric, the arm hole smaller size and the way it lays on me. My first was a regular length and then I bought a long in blue. I prefer the the flirty look of the regular length but the blue Long is nice too.
I like this dress very much. I bought it for summer so have only worn it once or twice so far. The material is almost like silk. I think that the color is slightly lighter than it appears on the website and slightly muted. I plan on using this as a travel dress. The long was sold out, I would have rather had the long version but the regular is not as short as the swing dresses.
I ordered a large but could have got a medium. This winter I’m layering with long sleeve t-shirts underneath and tights but it’s going to be perfect for all weather!
I’ve only washed it once, but it looks great and ready to go!
