Ordered a black long Camellia. Nice clean lines, but also some drape to hide lumps and bumps! Good material weight (not too heavy and hot) and it holds up to weekly washing in my machine with the rest of the family laundry. I typically wear anything between XS and M, depending on how loose/long I want the item, and I went with a M to be able to have the option to layer this dress with other items. The only downside to this was that the armholes were a little big, so on days I wanted to wear the dress alone, I had to be sure to wear bras that didn’t show. I also wanted to be able to wear this dress without leggings/pants, so I ordered the long. It falls to just about cover my knees. Great all-around dress!
Ridiculous. Not worth the dress I bought to fulfill the challenge. But kudos to you for selling out of inventory with this ridiculous challenge. I don’t even want the more expensive dress I had my eye on anymore.
Hi Caroline, we're sorry to hear you don't love the dress you purchased. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Experience Team if we can assist you. We do offer free returns and exchanges for new, unworn items within 30 days of delivery.
I like this dress and it fit perfectly, but decided to send it back because the color was a lot duller and more gray than I expected and it didn't go with then things in my wardrobe that I thought it would (color: lapis blue). I like the style, and how it can be dressed up or layered with other things to be a real year-round wardrobe staple, and I would consider buying it in another color in the future.
I've been doing the challenge in a black, long, Camellia. I altered the neckline to go lower as that was my only suggestion. Besides wanting a v-neck dress or lower scoop, it is overall such a fabulous dress! The long length is perfect for my tall frame. The dress is swing-y and very flattering. It's super versatile for the challenge and I have been loving coming up with new looks each day. Highly recommend this dress!
I chose Camillia over Sierra for the narrower shoulder straps (please don't make them wider!) and slightly deeper neckline. I do not find the fabric overly "clingy" as some have said, but it IS very light. If I had sized down, I might well have found it too clingy, but sticking with my normal size, it is comfortable and swingy. I have stayed comfortable on hot, humid summer days and will layer when the weather turns cooler. I got a Large Long, it hits right in the middle of my knee. I'm a bit over 5'6" with a 31 inch inseam.
Camellia Long in Coral is my challenge dress and I am having the hardest time finding a bra that wont show. The lines from my normal bras show on my boobs, so I found a bra simial to the infamous genie bras and the arm holes on Camellia are so large that any bra shows around my armpit.
I find I have to layer if I at all want to appear decent in public and only go #teambasic when I am lounging at home. This may have been resolved if I had aized down to XS but according to the size chart I should be a Medium and I had already sized down to a Small.
I love this dress - I cannot believe I can wear something so comfortable that has wool in it and the outside temperature is well over 90 degrees. It still feels cool! I am looking forward to wearing it during the winter with leggings and a sweater. It's so versatile!
Really nice lightweight dress for summer but I’m sure it will work for layering in cooler weather too.
I love the look of this dress. It can be worn with scarves, jewelry, as a jumper with a tee underneath. You can belt it and give it so much life.
I can’t say enough about the perfection of this fabric. Over the moon amazed!
Design, they are on a good path but the top needs to go out more because bra straps are forever showing. Also the swing design is good and all but too casual for everyday. While it can pair with a sweater or T-shirt, there is just too much fabric. It bunches and looks sloppy. When I can wear it stand alone or with an open cardigan it is perfect.
So, I tried the 100 day challenge and got about 10 days in until I found myself shopping for items to accommodate the dress and I realized it wasn’t worth. The Diderot effect was about to win and I thought I’d just enjoy my dress more frequently with its restrictions and wear it plainly.
I hope the design is improved. I would love to own more of these dresses.
