I like my Camellia tank dress. I wasn't sure what to expect, it's thinner than I expected, it will be great for summer. It's great to layer for colder weather. I layer it most days with jeans and a sweater (I'm not one who wears leggings). The dress isn't very form fitting but I like the extra room personally. I possibly could have gone with a smaller size but I didn't want it tight across my breasts. I like the sleeveless top as I can wear long sleeves under or over it easily. I'm doing the 100 day challenge as I want to get used to the idea of wearing less and to clean out my closet of things I don't wear and things I really don't care for. I look forward to wearing it in warmer weather. The dress doesn't come down to my knees as I have a very long torso, but I wanted this dress and this length as I can wear it more as a tunic if I like. I love that it has pockets too. The coral red color is a warm red that I appreciate adds some needed color into the cold days of winter. I layer it with skirts with it seen as just a top, there's just so many ways to wear it with other things, but I do look forward to wearing it in the summer by itself most days.
I wore black Camellia for 100-day dress challenge starting in July, and I will continue wear this dress into fall/winter. Love the simplicity of wearing it alone and the versatility of it with accessories like a belt, scarf, or kimono/cardigan. Love that the fabric is lightweight and soft!
I LOVE this dress. I love the pockets. I love the light weight temperature regulating merino. It’s perfect as a base layer and it’s perfect as a stand alone. I will buy this dress in every single you color they come out with and some of those twice. ;o). I love not having to choose between “put together” and comfortable any more. Thank you Wool&!
My first wool& purchase. Beautiful coral red dress. Lovely fabric. Hangs nicely and falls just above my knees. Pockets are generous and don't gap or bulge at the hipline. This 70+ year old grandmother would prefer it to be just a bit longer but not as long as the "long" version. Bra straps show if I'm not wearing a racerback style. The fit is perfect but there's not space for me to comfortably wear a tee under it during the coming cool weather in this size. I decided to return it and try the Sierra tank when it comes back in stock. Great customer service and communication makes this company easy to do business with while trying to find the right style and fit.
This dress is remarkably comfortable. It has lovely deep side pockets. It is longer than I expected and I got the "shorter" one. I am 5 ft 8 in and it falls to the knee crease. The fabric is lighter than the Siera Tank Dress, which I also have.
Who would have thought a dress could be both lightweight and cozy? Well, the Camellia is just that. The sleeveless design gives maximum flexibility to wear alone, with a shirt underneath, or a sweater over the top to layer in as much or as little as you like. My Camellia came right on time, and I was impressed with the minimum packaging. The dress washed easily in a mesh bag on gentle cycle in my washing machine. Hanging to dry, it was ready to wear in about 6 hours even though humidity was fairly high! I ordered the dress in 1X even though I knew it would be a bit big because it was readily available to arrive in time to start my 100 day challenge. I like the fit, but I am not fussy. I would rather have more room than feel constricted or have my mom-of-3 belly on display.
The pockets are my favorite feature of this dress. I can put my Samsung Galaxy S10e in the pocket and no one would ever know it was there! These pockets carry my massive wad of keys, my hands including the wrists, and even a small book to read on the fly. Camellia is my 100 day challenge dress and she's worth every penny!
I was unsure about fit and sizing of the Wool& dresses but am super pleased with the regular dress on my petite-sized body. I am an XS in other widely available swing dresses (Old Navy, Ann Taylor, etc) and the Camellia is very similar in size and fit. I am generally sensitive to wool in all its forms (to the point of being tested for a medical wool allergy), and have never been able to wear any wool garments or use yarns with any wool content; honestly I expected to try the dress on, feel like I was itching out of my skin, and return it immediately. But I am not itchy at all and have worn the dress for nearly two weeks as part of the 100 day dress challenge, all without any itching or skin sensitivity - a huge win!
I love this dress! The fit is just what I wanted. It's so comfy. The blue color is lighter than pictured but that's ok. By the size chart I was right in-between sizes, so glad I went for the smaller.
This is my first Wool& dress so I can't compare it to the other styles, but I like it a lot. I picked it because I wanted a sleeveless black challenge dress and I didn't love the stitched pockets on the Sierra. I started out with a 1X based on the size chart, which was much too loose and long for me (5' 4"). I went down to an L based mainly on the length, but it worked perfectly. I've worn it in late summer so far and haven't had any issue with it being too hot.
This dress is very comfy to wear for hanging out and can be dressed up and dressed down.
