I received this dress right after a fall. Perfect for ease of wearing and still feeling put together. It is easy to layer and the fabric is gorgeous. I am very pleased with my first purchase.
This dress has been fabulous. I fell in love with how easy wool is to take care of when I used cloth diapers with my kids, so I knew that it could withstand quite a lot, and it doesn't get smelly unless it's really neglected. I got the mauve color, which has been so versatile! Overall, I'm in love.
I adore tencel for its versatility- my very first tencel purchase was 20 years ago and the item was sturdy, like denim. Then I owned a silkier feeling skirt a few years later.
Anyway, I was curious what it would feel like blended with wool. I have this same dress in the regular wool blend and this one feels slightly thicker.
The heather plum looks nicer than I thought it would. The color is “pink, pink-purple” according to my son. It looks nice paired with charcoal, black, or navy. I have not paired a camel color cardigan with it yet, but I’m sure that will also look nice.
After patiently awaiting, my tencel Camellia arrived. I want to love her! I love the fit. I don't know whether it is part and parcel to the tencel fabric or if I received one with a flaw, but on the front of my dress there is a what looks like a snag on the material. When I look at that spot from the inside, I can see light through it. I have pictures, but they are on my camera and I am sending this from an email prompt on my computer.
This is definitely a new favorite. Comfortable, flattering, stylish. It's great for sitting around or going out (should that ever happen again someday). I love this dress! I usually wear a M or L depending on the style/cut. I have broad shoulders and a longer torso. The M in the long fits beautifully.
It's such a beautiful, plum color. I'm short but wide, so I got the XL long (I don't like my dresses to hit above my knees) and it's perfect. It's a little stretchy too, and hangs very nicely.
Just got my Wool& Tencel Camelia. I like the fabric. I like both colors. But the armpits are cut about a 1/3 of an inch higher and tighter than the Wool version of the Camelia. It’s just that little bit that makes my bra show and is uncomfortable under my armpit. It made the fabric crease under the armpit, which doesn't happen in the all wool version. And my bra straps showed. The fabric felt cool, and the heathered colors are very flattering.
I tried one of the other dresses in basically the same cut, but the fabric felt too heavy for the style. This is light and SO comfortable, yet no clingy. This is probably premature to review, since I haven't worn it out yet, but I'm excited about it. It's still quite loose and can look a little boxy at times, but the fabric also hangs really well so I think it'll be fine. Very versatile and I would buy more dresses in this fabric in different colors.
