I absolutely love everything about this dress. The tencel blend is so soft, lightweight, and comfortable. The fit is perfect - fitted enough on top not too feel shapeless, but still flowy and comfortable. I’m ok with the length but can see it being a little too short for some people’s taste. The vintage blue is even better in person.
Summers are hot in TN! I usually wear a tank dress most days as they are cooler. I purchased the Camille Tencel as my go-to summer dress this year. It wears and washed beautifully, and can be dressed up or down. The biggest plus are the pockets!! The regular length is perfect for my 5'3" - just at my knees.
Comfortable, sturdy, and stylish enough that you WANT to wear it professionally, socially, informally, all the time. Layer up for cold winter wear, accessorize for fancy occasions, and on its own for relaxing or hot summer temps. Flattering fit. I haven’t worn anything else since I got it.
This dress is 4" above my knee. I can't buy the long since they only have xxl not 1x (is it the same? who knows? no size guide). Doesn't matter because none of the very limited colors are available. I give up. The challenge sounded fun, but I can still do it with my own clothes. Fabric is pretty but shows every lump and bump on me.
I wore the Tencel Camellia for one hundred days straight, from the muggy mid-80 degree days of early fall in Virginia through midwinter and beyond. Camellia held up to all kinds of wear, kept my temperature well-regulated in heat and cold, and required very little washing.
After a hundred wears, there were still no stains and no pilling. I lost twenty pounds over the course of the challenge, though, so the fit has changed. I ordered a large Tencel Camellia in vintage blue heather and the fit is better for my current size.
