This is a comfortable, well-made, and versatile dress. It's a work dress with the belt on. It's casual with the belt off. Tuck it into a skirt or pants and it's a shirt. Add cute accessories and it's good for a date night. I can wear it for everything, which makes it perfect for the 100 day challenge. The fabric is soft and sturdy, and surprisingly warm for its weight. I'm always cold, and usually start layering thermal shirts and sweaters when the temperature hits the mid-60s. This dress alone keeps me just as warm as those cotton and polyester layers. The wool is every bit as good of a material as advertised. Now I just need to get myself some wool leggings to match!
Perfect for work and for a weekend date. Pair with short booties and leggings or tights for a crisp fall day. Can be dressed up or down. As we say in our family, "the fabric wears like iron." I will have this dress for MANY years to come. The waist loops are a little high for my long waist, but that's an easy fix.
This is my second Wool& dress. I own a tulip ad well, which I also love for different reasons. I am a huge fan of dresses with structure and am not interested in any of the swing dresses. I sized down based in the feedback that folks felt like they were in a potato sack and it paid off. I plan on buying this dress in every color and I get a lot of compliments.
Ever since I started following Wool& I have had my eye on Clara. I have Deep Teal and loved it so much I got it in Black. I’m curvy and appreciate how the belt gives definition. It’s perfect for work or conferences. It’s warm and comfy. My ily critique is the XXL has such long arms on my small 5’2 frame.
This is a great looking dress. It’s hard to believe this is the only 100% wool dress. I wish there were more. I will wear this year round. Even on hot summer days it was great to roll up the sleeves for outside and then roll them back down for cold AC or evenings- no extra sweater needed. The two things that I don’t like are 1) the awful belt loops (zoom in on picture) look like loose pieces of string and make the dress look sloppy and 2) because there is NO stretch the bottom hem can feel restricting around the knees when, say, stepping into a car
