Rating as four stars only because the cut of this dress didn't work with my pear shape. 5 stars for the beautiful aubergine color, fabric weight and fabric quality. The fabric is heavier and different weave than the other Wool& dresses, but I liked it for dressier work option. I really wish this one had worked for me. The top part fit perfectly, but it was way too tight across my hips. Sizing up would be too big on top. But, we all have different body shapes and proportions and need different cuts to make us feel great. This just wasn't the right one for me. Customer service is awesome for easy returns.

I love the deep rich color of this dress! Unfortunately, I'm returning it because it's just a little too potato sack-like and the sleeves are just on the edge of too short for me. wool&, please accept and acknowledge that you have tall, thin customers. I actually used quilt clips to clip up some front and back darts and it looked 1000x better, I just wasn't willing to take a chance on having it altered since I had paid almost $200 for it. The fabric is also a little stiffer than the other dresses (it must not have any stretch in it) and because I that, I suspected it would be more difficult to layer it come winter. I would probably buy the similar Georgia Henley instead, but it's 2.5" shorter and at 5'7", I need the longer length to be decent.

I was looking for a dress that could roll up small and still look sharp during long-term travel. I've only had it for about 2 weeks but already love it.
The material is a bit more structured than anticipated, but I actually prefer it. Fit is great, definitely take the time to measure yourself and refer to the size guide, I flux between a 14-18 and glad I sized up!

Because the material is too heavy it stands away from body and doesn't drape as do your other dresses

I really liked the feel of the 100%-wool fabric. It's a tighter weave than the blended fabric, not so stretchy. I loved the dark teal color. Unfortunately I sent it back because the shoulders were wide on me and the hip area was tight. I think it would look fab if I wasn't triangle shaped. But sizing up would not have helped me.
