So fancy! So versatile!

I love this dress! I love the color (marionberry), the shape is flattering and you can dress it up or down but it is by far my favorite wool& dress (and I have 3). It is lovely! If you don’t have it, get it!

Great dress but could be better

I bought this for a new office job as I need something that looks nice but will be comfortable.
My only complaint is it’s a bit more low cut than I expected. I can’t tie the sash any tighter and I’m concerned the fabric will stretch out over time. The chest on my Rowena did this. I may need to wear a slip or a light tank underneath as I can’t have my bra peeking through at work.
I have a smaller bust. 5’5” and 110 lbs. I purchased the extra small but the chest is definitely a bit large on me so time will tell how this holds up.

Alterations required for petite proportions

I love the richness of the pine color, soft breathable fabric, and easy elegance of this dress. I am 5’ 0” tall (measurements 35/32/38 inches). The small fit well for sleeve length and waist circumference. However the neckline plunged too low for daily activities and gapped significantly even with a slip underneath. In addition, the waist placement fell an inch or so too low on me, causing the fabric to drape in an unflattering way over my midsection. I wish this dress came in petite proportions. In lieu of that, I decided to have my dress altered to raise the waist and add a snap to the neckline.

Probably not for Petite Customers

Lovely fabric, nice drape, perfect skirt length and well-made but, as I feared, the neckline plunge ends perilously close to my waist. I’m looking for a camisole to make the dress wearable.

different than I expected but good!

This wool is much thinner/more fine than I expected. I'm doing the 30 day challenge and it's winter in Wisconsin, I bought a long sleeve style thinking it would be warmer. It's very light and soft, feels about like t-shirt type fabric. Runs a little larger than I had hoped, and since it's not a true wrap dress I can't adjust it smaller. I washed it before I realized I maybe should have exchanged it, I'm a 40DD and somehow the chest still tends to gap on me if I don't wash it frequently, but the (wool) bra I wear hides this Ok.

I don't love layering stuff underneath this dress as it tends towards cling, and because it's a little large it hasn't been great for layering stuff on top either. I'm also breastfeeding so I need the neckline to stay low.

Still, it's comfortable and doesn't get stinky and dog hair doesn't cling to it so I'll make it thru the 30 day challenge and then probably move on to a different style from the same company, in a smaller size, something I can have more fun playing with layering .
