I’m 5 feet tall and I constantly struggle with tops being too long. This shirt hits just below my hips and is really snuggly. I like it a lot. I did échange from medium to small because the neck was too wide and sleeves too long. The sleeves are still too long but not bad.
My new winter favorite! The cinnamon & navy stripes are perfectly proportioned (too narrow--hurts the eyes; too wide--well, um, too wide!), and the color combo is simply burnished and classic. Sophisticated yet comfortably casual, too. Sleeves are long enough to cuff well. The cropped length works well on short-waisted, pear-shaped me. I will wear my Holly Interlock throughout autumn and winter, over Sierra, Willow, or Rowena dresses. It. Is. Simply. Perfect.
I ordered both the Forest Night and Cinnamon Stripe in XXL. I have a large chest and wanted something with a bit more slouch to layer during the winter. I was surprised at how comfortable the shirt is, and still looks nice for work. love the Forest color and have worn it twice this week - once to the office and once to a high school band concert. It is short-waisted, so definitely a layering piece but comfortable and warm without the bulk of a sweater. I'm unsure about the Cinnamon Stripe. I like it but not sure I would wear it enough to justify keeping it. It's a unique color, almost rust, but not as much orange. It also seems to be slightly smaller than the Forest version I bought. I would definitely buy this again if it becomes available in black. The only thing I would change is the neckline. I wish it were a boatneck, but that's only because I prefer boatneck over scoop.
I ordered Forest Night and just love it. The fabric is sturdier and thicker than most of wool&'s material, and the cropped fit and dropped shoulders are fashionable. This looks great with the Frame Pont Culottes or over a dress.
The fabric is pretty nice. The Marine blue is beautiful. The sleeves are much too long. The shoulder seam goes halfway to my elbow and looks ridiculous on me. The body fits snug but not tight. Unfortunately this one will have to go back. My first wool& purchase that I haven’t loved.
