I have rowena & sierra both in long version. I originally ordered S & M in both, but found M offered a bit more length. I ordered the Landmark Cardigan in Charcoal Heather. I ordered a M & L to compare sizing. I like my sweaters comfy. The shoulder & arms seemed the same in both.
But I found the L could be overlapped in front, when wearing the rowena or sierra, with room to spare. This allows cardigan option of being overlapped in front & belted for extra warmth this winter/spring.
I hope to wear all my wool& to Europe this spring, the thinness but warmth of Landmark Cardigan will be perfect for travel and not take up much room.
Nice garment! It's warmer than the relatively fine material would lead you to believe, and has quite a bit more structure to it than I'd imagined--it could almost pass for a blazer. Throwing this on would easily dress up a lot of my outfits; it looks professional, but it's really comfortable, and it would also look nice with jeans, I think (I'm in the middle of my dress challenge, so I haven't tried that look yet). I can't really see myself ever tying it up in front, as I've seen some people do--it looked very silly to me when I did that--but maybe I'm just not tying it right! Anyway, I expect to get lots of use out of this.
I wear S in Rowena and Willow; I probably could have sized down to an S in the Landmark, but I really like the slightly roomier fit.
This has been an immediate staple, I wear it almost every day over my wool& Tulip dress. It fits exactly right and the pockets are useful.
I ordered a medium even though according to the size chart I’m a small, but I wanted the extra room for a cozy cardigan.
The shoulder/upper back area fits fine, but the upper arms are super baggy. However, the sleeve length is the worst. I don’t have particularly long arms, I’ve rarely ever encountered a problem with sleeves being too short. These sleeves are ridiculously short. Will be returning this immediately…very disappointed in this one, the material is lovely and I was excited to wear it, but for $158 I need perfection not awkward, poorly designed sleeves.
Hi Zuzu, thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear this cardigan didn't live up to the standards you have for us! Thanks for your feedback, we'll pass it on to our team.
I ordered the large and found that the sleeves are a little tight, making it uncomfortable to wear with anything but a tank top. Other than that, I am pleased with the cardigan.
I loved a lot of things about this cardigan--the fabric, the style, the drape. But even though I sized up from L to XL just to make sure the sleeves were long enough...they still weren't. They ended up just hitting my wrist bone, which wasn't what I was going for. Having to send it back.
Not too thick, not too thin, and like all wool& clothing, impeccably made. Pockets are well positioned to keep a phone from slipping out while seated. Have worn it with Sierra and Margo (goes great with both) and jeans+boots. Definitely recommend.
I am really happy with this purchase
I love the color and length. Is surprising how much warmth it ads when layered, considering how light weight it is. I appreciate the width of the lapel, it lays nicely. The pockets are sturdy they didn't sag when carrying my cellphone. I would love to see it in some spring colors!
Love it for layering and for work. Beautiful quality.
My Landmark Cardigan in black is classy, elegant, comfortable, and a very nice level of non-suffocating, non-restricting, non-itchy warmth for me. I love the length and drape. It covers the pockets on Sierra, allowing that dress to look more dressy than sporty, but the cardigan itself could look like yoga-ish athleisure wear, if you wore it that way, especially in a color other than black. Versatility in seasons and uses, for sure, but always looking good! I'm between a S and M. The S sleeves are just a hair short and the shoulders just a tiny bit narrow; the sleeves are not super slender, but I'll probably stick to sleeveless things beneath, so size up if you are similarly placed and want a roomy fit.
