This was perfect for my first Wool& dress. Fits well. I have since ordered a Cora in XS and an Amalya in XS. The Lola runs a little smaller in the hips than the others do. I might have been able to do an XS in this but the S works in the shoulders. I live in Florida so I love the weight of this fabric.

I just ordered my second Lola dress!

My first was the black, size medium. I love it! Extremely versatile, and easy to dress up or down. I have broader shoulders so it’s a bit small for me through the chest and shoulders (where I usually wear a large) but fits well through the waist (where I can swing a medium or large - give or take 5 or 10 lbs). I always wear it layered with a cardigan as I’m not super confident wearing it alone without shape- wear. And I think I might’ve shrunk it a bit in the dryer one time.

For my second Lola, I ordered a size up in the canyon red, so I hope that I will be able to wear it comfortably without being self-conscious about the fit with weight fluctuations and unfortunate dryer incidents!

Just wish there were more color choices. I would order charcoal gray in a heartbeat!

I have been looking for a “do it all” black dress for a while. It had to be appropriate for many occasions ( a funeral, restaurant dining, casual event), work for all seasons, have some sleeves, and not be too short. I’m 5’5”, 138-ish, have a straight shape, and a variety of older lady issues. Breast surgery, crepey skin, banged up legs, and a thicker waistline than when I was younger.
I tried a size M as the chart recommended and it fit ok, but I decided to size up to a L for a bit more length and shoulder room. It worked! I can wear tights and short boots for colder weather, sandals for summer, a long sleeve tee or sweater or jacket, even a belt if I wanted to. I am so pleased with the versatility of this dress. It packs small for travel and best of all- is merino.
As a bit of a minimalist, I am very happy with my one black dress.

This dress is the perfect little black dress. I can dress it up or down. Taking it to Portugal in April with a couple of sweaters, scarf, and a pair of leggings. I have the Charlie jumpsuit in small and Brooklyn dress in small and they fit well. I ordered this dress in Medium and am glad I did. It is loose enough to pair with leggings but not too loose to fly away in the wind.

I wasn’t sure about the country blue, because I was worried it would be too bright. It’s a beautiful soft shade, close to periwinkle. I sized up to a small for a more casual fit. I’m an XS in everything but Amalya and Chloe. My only complaint is that even sizing up to a small, the shoulders are still too narrow.
