Comfy, Nice Fit, Good Neutral Color

I'm pear-shaped (M up top, L below) and fall right in the middle of M/L on the size chart. A M long Camellia fit well for my 100 days, and this L long Maggie fits great for my reward dress. It's really hard to judge the colors from the site, and at receipt I thought this one was browner than I'd like, but after a few photo opportunities, I love how the color seems to change in different light and surroundings, and I've gotten lots of compliments on the color for me. It plays well with many shades. I find the material light, comfortable, and opaque. I like the length, pockets, and short sleeves. I do wish the neckline was a bit higher, and I'd have even more love for a version that fell calf-length on me. :)

Sweet Wardrobe Addition

This dress is a great color, and has the flattering cut I have come to expect from Wool&. I live in a warm climate and will find the short sleeves perfect for most days.

Pretty Nice

I was a little underwhelmed by the dress when it arrived, but wore it around my house some as a test and decided to keep it. Held up to the light it's somewhat transparent but I haven't noticed an actual issue with undergarment visibility. In retrospect I think the price is a bit higher than I'd like, but having something ~75% wool was new to me, and honestly I think the advertising was compelling enough with an overall good "consume less" message that I'm okay with it. (Of course the "wear for 100 days" thing is still a "buy our product" and therefore more consumption, but I like that it actively prompts people to consider doing more with fewer items) The pockets do sag the dress visibly when I put my phone in them - a consequence of using stretchy fabric - but they're still convenient and are partially reinforced with a non/less stretchy fabric that I expect will not wear through as quickly.
I've had the dress for just less than a month now, but have been wearing it fairly frequently - not everyday. I've washed it a couple of times as for the first time in my life I'm getting regular sweaty pits (!?), though I'm not sure it's the dress, and may just be weird hormonal timing, and/or inconsistent weather changes.
I'd tentatively recommend it ( the "long" maggie swing dress is still shorter than my default skirt length, but for anyone who wants to tie it up as a long shirt it's still possible.), and do enjoy the color I waited for (Forest Night), but do not feel motivated to purchase another one.

Bonus comparison: I decided to also buy for frequent use a dress from PACT (Women's Dark Plum Fit & Flare 3/4 Sleeve Dress). That one feels much sturdier than the Wool& dress, and is a more comfortable length for me. The pockets don't sag nearly as much, and the bodice area is double thick to prevent visibility and smooth any bra texture. At the moment though I do find myself reaching for the Wool& dress a bit more - primarily because it's not yet cold enough to default to longer sleeves, which does limit the versatility. In a few more months my default may very well switch.

Redwood is too brown

I ordered this dress for my 90 year old mother. Modern red (her first choice) was not available, but redwood looked ok online. She was very disappointed in the brown dress that finally arrived. We went back to the Wool& website and, sure enough, the dress looks much more red online. Everything else was fine (flattering fit, soft fabric) but Mom just feels down when she wears brown. We are returning the dress

Easy peasy - and pockets!

Love this easy dress. Fabric was thinner than I’d expected, but that’s not a bad thing. Dress hangs well - doesn’t cling - is comfortable and easy but still looks great. Wore it three times this week - once for work, once to host Thanksgiving and once for weekend lounging - with one wash after a sweaty afternoon (the work day). I’m loving the extra length of the long, and the pockets! Price seems high for something so simple, but it’s a versatile staple and quickly becoming a favorite.

Still adjusting to it

The fabric is thinner than I expected and doesn't have a lot of body. It clings and static is a problem. I thought wool would be warmer and I need to layer it and wear with tights or leggings. I like the reddish brown color. It is also easy to wash and hang dry. It is an adjustment.

Redwood color is too brown; am wearing this as a nightdress

I was disappointed by this dress, due to the way the color Redwood looks in real life. Much more brown than red, and not a good look on me. But I am going through the change of life, and so I thought I'd try this as a nightdress instead of returning it. After all, the fabric is supposed to be temperature-regulating, quick-drying, and odor-resistant--just what I need. It's been working nicely; so comfortable to sleep in, and the fabric is performing as described. (Looking forward to my Willow dress in black, something to wear in public, in a flattering color.)

My third and favorite wool& dress

I love my forest night Maggie. It is flattering but also so comfortable. The first time I wore it, I literally got stopped on the street by a security guard who wanted to tell me how beautiful the color of my dress was!
The thinner weight fabric allows it to drape and flow. I am also consistently surprised how comfortable I am in a variety of temps in Maggie, Rowena and Sofia (all thin fabrics). Also, when you wear them a lot, you realize just how high quality the fabric is despite the weight. I wore my Sofia dress (archived style, sleeveless midi) for 100 days in a row and by the end of it the dress hardly looked different than when I started. No cotton or synthetic dress will wear like that! If you're on the fence and have never worn merino wool before, just try a wool& style and see how you feel about it after wearing it a few times--I think it will exceed your expectations set by other fabrics!!
Sizing note- I am usually a L in most brands but wool& styles M fits me best. 40/34/41.
