I have three swing dresses and I decided to try a shift dress for my reward dress. This is my new favorite! I followed the guideline to go with the largest measurement (my waist) and got a large. It is more fitted but still has some room in the waist. I like the length of the sleeve - I tend to push long sleeves up and the bracelet length hits perfectly so I don’t feel the need to do that. It will be my go to when the weather is cool.
Love the style, weight and feel of this dress; I just wish the arms were a bit longer (another 1 inch?) rather then "bracelet sleeve" length - I would buy every color!! I am a L in Lola, but M in the swing styles (Maggie, Ro) - I ordered both a L & M in Margo, but kept the M for the slimmer fit. It IS a shorter dress, but I'm a leggings/ tights gal most of the year here in Alaska and I think Margo will adapt well to that.
I want to love Margo! I have a striped marine blue (no longer made) that I haven’t reached for much. I thought maybe a solid color would be work better, so I ordered a vintage blue. I’m an XS in most Wool&, but a S in Chloe and Lola. Unfortunately, I really need an XS Long (length and arms). The interlock fabric is amazing, and the fit in the torso is perfect. However, it’s too short to wear for work, which is primarily the setting I’d wear Margo since it’s more formal. The sleeves are also too short to be considered bracelet sleeves. Hoping Wool& begins offering a variety of lengths in the form fitting styles.
This dress is appropriate for virtually any occasion AND is crazy comfortable. I love that the fabric is thick enough to obscure lumps and rolls. On me, the length is a little above the knee, which is fine since it is a warm dress, and so I plan to wear it mainly in cold weather with tights or leggings. I have an upcoming event for which the dress code is "smart casual" and I'm hoping the weather will be cool, as this dress would be perfect. The neckline makes it so easy to style with scarves or long necklaces.
This is my second Margo, and if they come out with a burgundy and a pine, I'll be getting those too! The sheath dress style is beautiful. Not too baggy, not too tight. I have the gray and th aegean teal. So comfy. Like wearing PJs to work. I do need to wear leggings with this, as it is short for my height. It's nice and thick, cozy and warm. I always look pulled together with just a scarf, coat or cape. It easily also dresses down with Ugg style boots, or sneakers. I do speaking engagements at work, and I feel these look polished but still very approachable. Which is what I want. More please!!!
