This wasn't completely what I expected, but definitely good enough to keep and wear a lot! The fabric feels like it's reasonable quality for the price and it's pretty warm. The fit is what I expected for length and for the sleeves and shoulders, though wider than I expected. Overall I'm okay with that since that makes it really comfortable, but I might be disappointed if I wanted to wear this stylishly as it is.
(1) a little larger than I expected, for me it definitely needs a belt to look not frumpy.
(2) The redwood color is a little more brown than red.
This dress (Rowena) didn’t work for me. I loved the look in the online photos but it just didn’t look good on me at all. The fabric is very nice, the dress is well made and I love having pockets, but the neckline wasn’t flattering and overall the dress just didn’t hit the mark. I’m disappointed, as I really wanted a warm dress with natural fibers during this snowy winter. But it’s back to trousers and fleeces! I tried the dress on three or four separate times, thinking maybe it was the mood I was in, but unfortunately my opinion didn’t change. So, back it goes. Sorry :-(

I'm very happy with my rowena. I bought extra small because I didn't want a droopy neckline. The fit is great. Perfect for layering under sweaters and jackets. I ordered gray and it really is more of a blue in my opinion but still nice, just not as neutral as I was hoping.
I am a wearer if wool and dresses and love simple items I can wear daily.
I plan to rock this challenge, but I am surprised just how thin the dress is.
I ordered a small based on information I got here, but am not convinced on that choice; though I have never been my current weight and am on a quest to get back to “my” size... normally 125-130.
I love the basic cut and neckline, though I would have liked the bottom to have a little more “swing” and for there to be a liner up top.
I am hoping I’ll love it more when I lose the excess weight I am not use to carrying.
The pockets add a bit of a weird pull, but, again, it may be my weight.
I like the outer pockets of the kids Rowena better.
I have been wearing this dress for a week now and I love it. I ordered it in plum and the colour is just beautiful and goes with many of my pink mauve and purple accessories. It’s quite cold here in the UK at the moment so I wear it with merino undies, leggings and a jacket and it keeps me toasty.
I love my blue Rowena! It's a cold winter, and I layer over and/or under her, wear her as a dress, a shirt, or a tunic, belted or unbelted, tied or loose, dressed up or down. After 35 days of daily wearing Rowena (and one wash so far), she still looks flowy and new, and feels soft and warm. I got the Long, a good length for my height, but the cut is such that the medium feels loose on me. Small would probably have fit me better, so I'll try a Small Long Rowena next. After I've worn Ro for a hundred consecutive days, I'll keep wearing her!
My dress arrived with a snag near the neckline. I offered to keep it for a discount but was told I could send it back, not very environmentally friendly.
I ordered the Swing Style Long Rowena dress. I love the color and the feeling of this dress! I was so excited to receive it and I love wearing it, because the long length is perfect with leggings or tights underneath and it is incredibly comfortable. I also love that it has pockets! It delivered in being a quality made item, and reasonably priced. It also cleans well, dries quickly, and doesn't stink. I am impressed with the durability and moisture wicking of the wool. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The cut of the dress is less than flattering. It seems to have a lot of excess material, and even with a belt it doesn't have a great shape to it. Please understand: it's not that I want this to hug my curves but this bulky dress erases them completely and makes me look like I'm wearing a (beautifully colored and soft) circus tent. I will still wear it and enjoy styling it in different ways, but either the sizing is way off or the cut is too generous. I had hoped to do the #100daydresschallenge but my husband begged me not to after seeing me in the dress. Instead, it will be a lounge around the house dress instead of a professional clothing item I had hoped for. I'm not sure if I should have sized down but I did follow the recommended sizing guides on the website.
I am 6 days into to #100daydresschallenge.. and loving every moment.
I usually wear a 6 - 8, and that sort of puts me between sizes. I chose the small because j wanted something closer fitting, so I could layer it. Also... i am concurrently working on a nutrition program and losing those extra pounds i picked up..
And didn't want the dress to be too soupy after i lose my projected 20 lbs.

I'm wearing my Rowena again today, for the 5th time since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It's exactly what I wanted. The fabric is soft and comfortable and it drapes beautifully. It's been a little bit staticky since the weather turned extremely cold and dry last week, but a little Static Guard seems to have solved that problem. It washed easily and dried quickly (just washed it for the first time yesterday). I have the Jewel Green and I love the color, it's very flattering. I'm a teacher and this has been a great dress for wearing to work, especially when I have to sit on the floor (I got the longer version). Dresses that work for sitting on the floor are a must when teaching music to small children!
