I like this design, possibly, but I really must insist that you try to do more flattering lengths—hitting right at or above the knee is just not a good look on most women unless you have perfect knees—even then, it looks childish. The length of most of your dresses, even the so-called "long" versions, is absurdly short for everyday or professional wear for anyone above the age of 22. I don't want to have to wear leggings—defeats the whole purpose of simplicity in dressing having to find a pair of pants to put on with the dress! Ideally, I'd like to see the Rowena swing in a midi (below the knee), a midi-length wrap dress, and a short sleeve, cap, or sleeveless midi or indeed maxi. Since it's wool, the Rowena is quite warm and I need to free my armpits! We can always layer! Please note Carine's review below! I agree exactly! Most of your styles have a very frumpy effect when worn, but because they aren't even long enough, you can't get any of the modest-Frum crowd! It's sort of slutty-frump, which is a hard look to pull off. I really like your ethos, but try to find more flattering shapes and draping! I'm very disappointed in my "long" Rowena swing. I bought it a year ago, never found the desire to wear it, finally pulled it out today, and have spent all morning trying to figure out a way to add some more flattering length and swing. Maybe I'll try a long silk slip as an under layer with some kind of frog or other closure to give it flattering detail around the waist. hmmm.
