The color of this marionberry willow is saturated and looks very true to the listing pictures. I've only been doing the dress challenge for 10 days but it has held up well to daily wear. It fits me exactly as it appears in the stock photos.
The fabric was thinner than I expected, but this could be a pro or a con so will need to wear it a bit more to know for sure. I really like the fit, as my short-wasitedness sometimes gets in the way of dress fits.
I wear 3x usually but the 2x Willow fits well with room to spare even. The fabric is thinner than I thought it would be and because of that it drapes very well and does not feel bulky at all. I am enjoying pairing it with all my current wardrobe pieces and look forward to ordering again!
This dress is SURPRISINGLY lightweight. It hangs well and washed nicely with no wrinkles. The V neck and 3/4 length sleeve keeps it cooler, I think.
Great item, I actually bought white pregnant and it was so comfy to wear even then!
Love this dress. Soft and comfy. Very flattering. I am 5'4", 165 lbs, and an apple shape. I got size large and while form fitting up top it does not look too tight and it flares away nicely. I like the 3/4 sleeves and v neck because I can get hot even on cold days. It layers nicely. It is the middle of winter now and I mostly wear it with leggings or skinny jeans to keep warm. It washes well and dries overnight. Stays wrinkle free from day to day. The charcoal gray is a perfect neutral.
I was intrigued (and also a bit repulsed) by the idea of wearing the same dress for 100 days. After reading about the experiences of those that did the challenge I just had to try the dress. I chose willow mostly because of the swing style and need for 3/4 length sleeves. It exceeded all my expectations. When it arrived I went to my closet and half the stuff in there looked great with it. It is THE most comfortable dress I’ve ever worn. The fabric is lovely the way it falls and folds. I’ve worn it daily for about a week and love it. I really COULD do the challenge, except for the fact that I could not take my picture every day. The length is perfect for my 5’ frame, coming to just above my knees. It’s one of the most versatile items of clothing I own
I could live in these dresses! Currently rotating 2 wool dresses, washing only occasionally! The short version is great over leggings, I prefer the long for a summer style I can wear with or without leggings. The green brings out the slight green in my eyes. Love the color!
I find measurements more helpful than knowing someone’s weight, so mine are: bust 35”, waist 28.5”, hip 37.5”. I ordered a small.
Wanted to love this, but I think my bust size affected how long the dress hung on me. I am not tall — I’m 5’4” — and the dress hit me at mid-thigh, significantly shorter than how it looks on the model. Were I 20 years younger, I might could pull that off, but not in my 40s! It would work well as a tunic, but not a dress.
My bust is around 35” and I found the size small fit me fairly well, but it was snug in the armpits and bust. The fabric is a bit thinner than I expected (I used to have a Rowena, which I loved, and I feel like the material was a little heavier?) but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I’m exchanging this for a Willow in long, sized up to a medium. Hope this review is helpful to others!
I did my challenge in the Rowena and chose Willow in moss green for my reward dress. The color is amazing and rich. The swing style is forgiving on my mama midsection and the original length is perfect for my petite frame.
