Don’t order if you’re petite

This was my first order from wool&. While the measurements on the website match mine, both items I ordered were much too big. Wool& has a free exchange policy, which I would have gladly used had they provided a size smaller than XS. Since they don’t have a size that fits me, I’m required to pay return shipping. This hardly seems fair and is size discriminatory in my opinion.

We're so sorry to hear that the Jade's sizing didn't work for you! I'm glad to see we got you taken care of over on our helpdesk. We're always here to help if you need any size or style recommendations!

Some clothing takes a bit getting used to but I slipped this tunic on as soon as I unpacked it. Roomy but not sloppy with curved side seams for a flattering fit. I’d buy another!

The Perfect Summer Tee

I bought the Jade tunic tee in Tencel with Pacific Heather originally, and while I liked it I wanted a more saturated color. I exchanged it for this lovely olive tree green (no tencel) in the same size, and I am keeping it. I might dye it still--to get it to be a more vibrant, mossier green rather than the paler light yellow tones of this shade--but I'm not certain if I want or need to. While moss will go better with some colors (looking specifically at Beetroot!), this shade is lovely with Redwood and Plum as is, and it does not go badly with anything I've tried it with so far. I think this is going to get a ton of use this spring and summer as it's just the perfect throw-it-on weekend shirt when you don't feel quite like a dress, especially paired with leggings or bike shorts for me. It's also a great layering option as it doesn't have too much bulk under most dresses. Over things, it can quickly be gathered into a knot; it's harder to do the belt layering trick as there's a lot of fabric since it's a tunic, and it can be annoying to knot it as the sides have a little 1in slit at the end. However--it's still completely doable with folding, just a little trickier. What I love most for summer are the loose sleeves that won't accrue too much sweat given the distance from the armpit, despite it having sleeves. It also is large enough to completely cover a size medium Brooklyn overtop.

On fit: the tunic covers my butt just barely, but I do not mind. If you want it to cover more, would size up, and would give an even looser fit, but as is I find this fit very breathable and comfortably relaxed.

On color: the pale, yellow-toned green is beautiful although a little more muted than I expected based on website photos. I've posted a comparison pic to a charcoal grey Rowena I dyed with yellow that made a vibrant green to show the differences in tone.
