Beautifully made

This is a beautifully made long sleeve t-shirt. The fabric has a lovely drape. I usually wear a medium and that size fit me well too but I wanted a looser fit for this shirt so I went with a large.

love it!

This is my second 100% wool Sloan LS tee. I bought burgundy for winter and liked it so much I got a second in black, primarily for spring and fall baseball, but I am finding it to be a regular go-to as it can be dressed up for work or relaxing on the weekend. Pros: comfortable/smooth, flattering fit, can be worn alone or easily as a base layer, washable, holds up well, and wool's natural SPF. Cons: limited color selection. I prefer 100% wool and would like to see this in more colors.

Silky, durable, breathable, comfortable

The Sloan is a very satisfactory shirt--as the title says, durable, breathable, comfortable, and perfectly capable of multiple wearings before it needs washing. I don't think it's too thin--I mean, it's meant to be a fitted, breathable layer, and I certainly can't see through it. I'd say it also runs very true to size if you like things fitted--if you want it roomy, I'd go up a size. I have an older version in another color; it's going strong several years later, and only gets silkier and softer as it's washed more. On that older one, the side seams were positioned a bit oddly, skewed a bit so that one seam was more toward the back and the other seam cutting a slight diagonal line down the front; but it wasn't very noticeable, especially under other layers, and I think that's been corrected in this version. Merino is an amazing fabric, and the colors are deep and beautiful.
