Cool& Comfy Frankies

I picked these up during my 30 day challenge with Camilia in the middle of a Texas summer. I can’t believe how comfortable these shorts are under dresses to keep everything cool, and to avoid the dreaded chub rub. I don’t like anything very tight around my tummy and bike shorts I’ve purchased elsewhere have always rolled up on the legs. These are comfy and they don’t roll up at all. I highly recommend them.

Perfect for the hot summer!

I live in Middle Tennessee and it can be very hot and humid. These bike shorts are keeping my legs from chafing and keeping the sweaty bits aired out. My non-wool biker shorts get very moist and smelly by the end of the day and do not smell better unless washed. My Wool& Bike Shorts can be worn multiple days when necessary. I like they are light and not too tight.

Helps with the summer heat!

I bought these shorts because I'm 7 months pregnant in summer and can really only wear skirts but kept getting too sweaty and uncomfortable under them. I didn't want to spend the money on maternity shorts that were wool and not be able to wear them later so I sized up and took a chance on these. They actually help keep me much cooler in summer from the wicking action of the wool and are the most comfortable underlayer I have! I'm hoping after the baby I will still be able to wear them but we will see. My normal size is about a medium at 145 lbs and 5'9" tall but right now I'm at about 170 and wearing a large just fine. I agree with a few other reviews that the legs seemed a bit tight on my thighs but noticed the fabric loosened after a few wears and fit fine now (I would say I'm pretty pear shaped overall).

Wonderful under garment!

This under garment is terrific with dresses & to make skirts more comfortable than traditional skorts. I’ve been wearing the Frankie in very hot humid weather & they feel dry & comfy (thank you merino wool). I find they loosen a bit with wear, not enough to size down though. I only wash occasionally in cold water & air dry. Otherwise just air out between wearing.

Nice lightweight option

I wear an XL in both the Summits and the Frankie. My hips/legs are my biggest measurements and the same size works for me in both. The Frankie legs are more snug, but not uncomfortably so, and they don’t leave a mark on my legs where the hem hits. I like both styles for different purposes. The Summits I use for travel pj shorts and under dresses and the Frankies are nice under dresses in hotter weather. I got these in rose so I can wear them under lighter color dresses.
