Not itchy!

I was super surprised at how not-itchy this is! I was worried that it would be since it is 100% wool and not the same slick feeling as the Jade, but I really love it. I'm plus sized (US size 20-22) and was worried that it wouldn't fit, but the XXL is perfect for tucking in to pants under a cardigan or blazer with jeans. Amazing layering piece.

Versatile Tank for all your needs

On the FB group a little while ago, I asked about activewear shirts to replace the hot and smelly synthetic shirts I was getting annoyed with. Thanks to the advise of the group, I purchased both the Ashland (in red rumba heather) and the Livia (in black). I'm in love with them both, they fit perfectly, and I already know that I'll be getting a lot of wear from them. Not only will they be perfect for walks and hikes, they are lovely tanks generally and I'll be wearing them a lot this summer. I got Livia in the black because I think I'll end up wearing her as a basic black tank all the time. Black Livia is just so versatile and fits so easily that I've been wearing her not just for walks in the mornings, but also during the daytime with shorts, jeans, and skits this summer.
For science, I'm 5'6", 152lbs, and have a long torso and high waist. Measurements 39/33/39. Livia is Medium (and chest measurements are within specs). I wear small or medium in dresses.

This tank top is fantastic. I want to wear it everyday. Can be dressy or casual depending on what I wear it with. It was nice and cool even in yesterday’s 90 degree heat.

just what I needed!

I love this shirt! It is the perfect weight and very comfortable. I am used to 100% wool and I do not think it is itchy. It is breathable. I have worn it several times and always feel the perfect temperature. You can't see my bra through the fabric, but it isn't too thick either. I am giving it four stars because of the arm hole. It bubbled out awkwardly in the front; I read that a different reviewer added bust darts to fix this. I inexpertly did the same and it solved my problem, but my shirt is black and you can't see the stitches, plus no one really stares at my armpits. I may get someone to redo it, since otherwise it would be nearly unwearable for me with my bra showing, and if I had gotten either of the other colors, I think I'd need it professionally done from the start since the darts would be more visible in a lighter color. I think the need for darts might depend on body type. I have an hourglass figure and the distance between my shoulders and bust is slightly smaller than average (I have often needed to adjust strap length on tanks). I don't think a smaller size would have worked for me, since it fits so perfectly around my torso otherwise. I would recommend this shirt overall for perfect comfort and I think I can wear it all year, as a base layer or on its own!
