about our wool
The drop shoulder is annoying. Not sure why this was designed that way. It adds nothing. Tunic is a little boxy. I like the lighter weight which makes it a good layering piece. I’ll wear it a bit longer and then decide whether or not to resell on BST
I'm very happy with the Simone in thyme. I'm 5'3", and most wooland dresses are too long on me right out of the bag. I also feel overwhelmed by the amount of fabric in Rowena, but the Simone tunic is just right for me. I wear it with leggings and it hits a bit below the tips of my fingers. I did have to go down two sizes from Rowena to get the right fit, and I'm having the sleeves shortened to fit me, but I would definitely order this in another color if more were offered (I have a marionberry Everett or I'd order that, too). The cowl neck drapes very nicely, which was something I was a little concerned about when ordering. Looks great layered with a cardigan. If you're on the short side and like a non-body hugging dress, give this one a try.
I've waited for this tunic...the length is perfect! I'm always between large and extra large in wool& so I got one of each. The extra large is very roomy and the large is great too, just a bit more fitted. The sleeves on both sizes are plenty long and the cowl is just right. I like the lightweight fabric on this top for a nice drape. (Marionberry is large. Thyme is extra large.)
Soft lightweight tunic, lovely green color. This is a very loose fitting tunic, and I could have got a medium, but I like the large. The light weight of the fabric lets the garment flow nicely, so it isn't too voluminous looking. This will be quite versatile for anything from lounging at home to dressing up.
I really like this top even though cowls and turtlenecks are not my favorite. It is a great length and weight. I didn’t want to take it off after trying it on.
The only thing lacking is…pockets!
