This is the travel dress I've been looking for! I bought the dress in black and just took it on a 6 day trip where I paired it with a jean jacket, sneakers, sandals, and a gray long sleeve for an added layer and it was perfect! When it gets colder out I'll easily be able to layer with some cashmere sweaters and tights. I'm 5'5'' and the length is a bit long on me--mid calf-- so I do plan to shorten it to just above the knee. The waist hits slightly above my normal waist, but still looks great and doesn't have an empire-waist look to it when worn. I have an athletic build and typically wear S or XS dresses in Wool&'s more fitted styles (e.g., Lola, Margo, and Sasha), so this fit was normal for me. However, the bust was a little tight in the first wear, but relaxed a little bit and feels/looks great now!

This is a stunning midi length round neck midi length dress with an elastic waist which is slimming to the figure. The pockets are on both side seams. The dress is versatile to dress up or down and the fabric is delicious and soft. The Orche blends as a great neutral.
