I wanted a nice waffle knit to either wear on its own or as a baselayer. This one is loose enough to be worn on its own but form fitting enough to also be worn as a baselayer; perfectly in between. I was actually looking at the Wool & Prince waffle knit, since I don't like things that have a super feminine fit, but this one is neutral enough that I like it. It's the same fabric as the Wool & Prince waffle knift, but there isn't an XS version of that one so it would have been way too big on me. I've been a fan of Wool & Prince for a long time but their fits aren't always what I need. I can tell this is going to be great when fall rolls around, either under a hoodie/flannel or on its own.

Perfect weight to keep the chill away and not be too hot, thicker than a t shirt but thinner than a sweatshirt. Fits loosely which is what I was hoping for.

I really love this waffle T. The fabric breathes and is warm without extra weight. I expect to wear it year-round. I got it in Pine in Medium. The Pine is such a beautiful bluish-green--my new favorite wool& color. I used the size chart and didn’t size up for an oversize effect. I love the flattering girly fit. It’s not boxy at all. I’ve worn it several times already even though I just recently received it and I washed it once. Be sure to have a Snag-Nab-It available because you might get a snag or two with the looser fabric weave. No problem at all to use the tool to pull any snag to the inside. Not a deal breaker for me. I’ll be buying the Black soon too. Shown here with the Forest Night Rosso Pants, which I also love.
