Fits great, this will be my go to Little Black Dress
Gorgeous dress fits beautifully
I’m very pleased with the Isabelle wrap. I have several Sierra’s in size small, but purchased Isabelle in medium to accommodate my 34DDD girls. Isabelle will be a timeless addition to my wardrobe. As I’m 5’2” she will require hemming by about 3-4” (Petites please Wool&!). The slight swing helps the pockets be less visible, but I may lessen their depth a bit; still there but slightly less fabric & depth. Currently seeking a cropped sweater/jacket to compliment Isabelle for fall/winter wear. All in all, gorgeous.
I did the 100 day challenge in this dress and then turned around and bought a second one in a different color— need I say more? I just wanted to update my original review about the sizing- I was between sizes and did the challenge in a size S, and then bought an XS for my second one. Sizing down was the right choice since the S was a bit loose in the waist for me (I’ve got an hourglass kind of shape). YMMV but wanted to throw out that data point in case it helps anyone else!
I love this dress, it's flattering, comfortable, lightweight without being see through. I have some mild "complaints" that are mostly comfort and lifestyle related. The dress hits me a few inches below the knee at my heights which I guess makes sense given the model it's shown on is a few inches taller than I am. This is an almost awkward length but I also have an active 2 year old so the extra length makes me feel like I can bend and squat a bit more without worry of flashing people my undies. I do feel like the bust is a bit low cut on me at times, which again, is exacerbated by my parenting a toddler. I'm considering going to get it tailored a bit to sew the wrap of the bust a bit closer together just so I don't have to adjust as frequently. I've also taken to wearing a higher profile bra underneath to help cover my bust a bit more.
I got this dress to do the 100 day challenge in and that may be the only thing I regret. I love the dress and it has so far (10 days in) held up well to my body chemistry (Postpartum/Breastfeeding hormones have my body odor being a constant challenge)! It washes well but the length and slightly more formal style than some other tank dresses make it slightly less versatile. I'm committed to wearing it for the remainder of my 100 days, and then more selectively beyond. Definitely will not be my last Wool& dress.
