I was hesitant to buy the newly designed Brooklyn because I truly loved the old Brooklyn design and especially the fabric. But this color convinced me to give it a go. My first reaction was disappointment in the flimsier seeming thinner fabric and the fact that Wool& once again redesigned a dress to be shorter and trimmer-cut. That said, after I had worn it awhile I actually realized the cut of the dress is fine, maybe even better than the old design, just different and took some getting used to because I love my old ones so much. I still would greatly prefer this dress in the old fabric...it was so much softer and more luxurious. But all in all, I love dress and the Pacific color is my favorite of all Wool& colors so far.

This is 5th wool& dress, my second Brooklyn and everything about it from the color (pacific- the perfect dark tealish green) the length and style is just
PERFECTION. The picture is fresh out of the package, it looks a little snug on my stomach but within two hours of wearing it had relaxed enough to look perfect. My other Brooklyn is. Medium/regular length and I have to wear shorts under it to feel comfortable. The long hits just above my knees and is comfortable with or without shorts.

This is a super versatile style and the Pacific color is gorgeous!

I would wear this every day if I could, I feel put together and dressy but it is so comfortable. I also miss the pockets but it probably looks a bit more polished without them.

I ordered this dress in the redwood color. It’s so rich and beautiful in person, the color looked a bit more brown on the screen but has a lot more red (it’s lovely!). I breastfeed and this dress allows me to do that easily. However if you have a large bust, the “waist” bit will probably not actually sit at your waist, but a bit above it. I do wish it had pockets like my other wool& dress, but I can forgive that. Over all I’m very happy with my purchase. Hoping wool& will make more nursing friendly clothing in the future too!
