I’m a pear-shape (small waist, large thighs) which means my upper arms are disproportionately large and I was worried that this top would be tight on my arms so I ordered a M even though I usually wear a S top. The material is wonderful and the sewing quality is fantastic, but wearing the shirt was a chore. The sleeves were so tight that if I moved my arms at all, I would have to readjust the sleeves. It was slightly uncomfortable all day. I would try ordering a L and taking in the waist myself, but the sweep would also be too wide and I don’t have a nice enough sewing machine to re-hem it. I was hoping to order several more colors, but I’ll wait and see if Wool& designs a shirt that has wider half sleeves in the future.

It's excellent for travel! I the only drawback to this shirt is that the red one bleeds a surprising amount, which I discovered while traveling and washing it by hand in the hotel sink. Fortunately you don't have to wash it very often, but no longer will I put it in the washing machine at home, lest it bleed on other clothes.

This is the first merino wool tee I’ve ordered from any company. The feel and softness surprised me, I wasn’t expecting it to be this good,
The tee is light with a nice length in the sleeves and body for me. After seeing the quality,I ordered another in a different color.

This shirt is soft, and fits really well. I'm self conscious about my upper arms, and the extra coverage of the elbow sleeve is perfect. More colors please!!

This shirt is a bit thinner than I expected. Just a little more heft to it would be nice. However, when paired with the rose scoop neck bra it works well. It fits well and has a good feel/drape. The arms are ample enough without being oversized. I ordered my normal size for tops, XXL. So this fits like the long sleeved scoop neck and long sleeve v-neck tops. I do not like snug clothing and could wear a smaller size, maybe two sizes smaller but I am happier with the fit of XXL. I love the pink but will order another one in the gray color when it is available in my size again. I absolutely LOVE the elbow/ballet length sleeves! Perfect for ladies like me who have upper arms that think they should have a life of their own and wave like a flag!!!! :-))
