I received Rebecca as my mystery dress. It was literally the ONE dress I did not want out of the long-sleeve category. When I opened it up, I was so dissappointed and was ready for the fit to show every flaw I have.
Boy was I surprised.
This dress skimmed my body in a way that no other dress has and truly makes me feel like a million bucks. This dress should get a lot more attention. It's fabulous.
I would strongly recommend sizing down, especially if you are between sizes,. I'm a curvy pear (bumpy butt) with a newly acquired "meno-belly" so I thought for sure I would need a Large to hide it all, but the material does it all for you, yet still shows your shape. I think there is some kind of weirdo wool& magic in the interlock.
So, I was really unsure about this dress. I love the interlock fabric, but I was concerned about the lack of pockets, and it just looks too big in the model pictures. Lots of things king of holding me back, and then Customer Service Alice mentioned it as one of her favorites. I thought about it, poured over reviews and photos of other women, and then took the dive. I AM REALLY GLAD I DID. I wore it for 5 days in a row it was not only comfortable, but very nice looking. I like the length- it falls below my knees, and I am very glad I sized down after reading the reviews. Not having pockets hasn't actually been an issue for me. It is a very comfortable, stylish dress that drapes well, and can be dressed up or worn fairly casually. It definitely makes one pricey nightgown as well. My only sadness was that almost a week after I got it, it went onto the warehouse clearance list... but such is life. I would actually like to see this dress in a green color... Emerald or Pine. I do not have any full shots, but will post a couple of the neck up and down. (sizing reference: 42-36-44)
Elegant and sophisticated, it was one of those dresses that goes on and you immediately say, "this is a winner!" It does feel more like a winter/fall dress, but it will be in heavy rotation.
This is a great dress worn by itself or over top leggings. It’s slightly fitted, but not hugging. I have worn it to work with boots but could be dressed up with heels too. Cozy and warm for the cold!
I was looking for something to wear during the colder months and Rebecca is absolutely perfect! I love the cowl neck and the option to wear it buttoned up or open. The length is just right to wear with boots, plus it can easily be belted and bloused out for a shorter look over jeans or leggings. I had the hardest time deciding between the colors but I'm so glad I went with washed navy! It's almost more of a charcoal color and looks fantastic with just about any color I pair with it. The weight of the fabric is just heavy enough without being too much, and I really like the more body-skimming fit.
My measurements (I think around 38-35-45 but I haven't actually measured myself lately) put me in L or even XL, but I usually wear a size 10 and I've found that L in other dresses can be a bit too loose on me. I ordered M because I didn't want this dress to be too baggy, and that was definitely the right choice for me. I have wide hips/upper thighs but the M doesn't pull across them too much. This is absolutely my favorite Wool& dress!
