I am an apple shape and all my weight is around my stomach. This means I always get large sizes to accommodate.
These are therefore long on me, but I have no issues waring them anyways, they seem to just hang well enough.
The color is gorgeous, and I actually have gotten a complement on them. Weird for sweats.
Someday I might attempt a little alteration, but really, they hang super nice and I don’t need it.
Well done!
I went up a size for my ample thighs. I am glad I did. I haven't worn them enough to know if they will stretch out, but right now they look fine. I bought them to go with the Poppy merino wool tank top. I wanted a sort of "jumpsuit" look while still having two pieces for versatility to wear separately, and also to go to the bathroom without getting naked. With the "sweatband top" it definitely doesn't look like a jumpsuit. You can tell they are two pieces. It would have been better (for me) to have just a casing with a threaded elastic and a drawstring bow. Also, the top and the joggers are NOT the same black, and so you can tell it wasn't meant to be worn together. Even still, I kept them and I do wear them together. I may add a belt to make it look more cohesive. With a cardi, this would be an easy airplane outfit, to be totally comfy on a long flight!
I’m a solid M for bottoms on Wool& (Rita skirt and leggings) and my waist measures a M for the aspen joggers. When they arrived, they were a bit loose in the waist and generally looked like a pair of sweats. My husband was appalled and forbid me from wearing them to travel. There was an 80% chance I would keep them and wear them anyways out just to get a rise out of him, but he was right…they were awfully expensive sweats and didn’t carry the whole “casually upscale” look I was hoping for. Fortunately, returning for a smaller size was easy and a week later a slimmed down version arrived that looked much nicer. Although the pockets bulge out a little, I’ve gotten over it and my husband won’t stop reminding me how much nicer they look and how right he was about the sizing, which would normally annoy me but I’m too comfortable in my new pants to fight.
I should have purchased a large based on my waist and hip measurement of 32”/43” but I was getting these for a long airplane trip and wanted to be sure they were not tight so I went with XL. I’m usually an XL in most pants. I’ve worn the XL a few times and have washed them and they are a lot looser than I would prefer. The fabric is nice! It’s slightly thicker than the Icebreaker merino joggers I also purchased, but not as thick as regular joggers, more like a t-shirt thickness.
The fabric is thick and appears to be durable. However the fit is a little roomier than I expected. It's not a problem since I only intend to wear these for lounging and sleeping. This is my first purchase from Wool&, so now I wonder if I should size down on all items purchased, or does this style just run a little bit big? I did wear them three days in a row around the clock, and they were still odor-free, as advertised.
