I bought this after not loving the Sierra (which was little heavier than I wanted), and the very first time I put it on I knew I was doing at least a 30-day challenge in it. Maybe even a 100!
This is such a versatile piece and is absolutely the only reason I made it through the late summer heatwaves. Sometimes when they’re getting a bit fragrant I’ll wash the armpits before bed and they’re ready to go again by morning. I run hot and I’ve never not felt sticky in summer clothing before, so finding this dress has been an absolute game changer for me. I even wore it on a trans-Atlantic flight recently and for the first time ever I didn’t completely stink by the end of my journey.
The hem does drape a little unevenly after I’ve worn it for several days and begins to hang down lower on my knees than I prefer, so I may get it shortened. But otherwise this is easily one of my top 5 favorite wardrobe pieces I’ve ever owned.
I love the lightweight nature of the tencel! It’s cozy and classic and so comfortable! And cute! I have two of them now in black and black heather!
I love this dress! It’s cool and light and flowy. I love it!
I got the Aurora Blue Heather in my Sierra size, which is down from what the size chart says. She’s flirty and fun and is going to be my do everything summer dress.
The Tencel is a nice blend and has lovely drape. It’s slightly large on me because the chest width was a bit larger than the garment measurements but it’s very comfortable and too easy a dress to let go of. The Aurora blue heather color is a lovely medium jeans color so it’s a versatile neutral color. The length is great and below the knee for me but not in that weird mid calf length.
It’s perfect with the OG Bird short Kaftgan from Julahas as shown in the photo.
