As a person with long arms and broad shoulders, I've always struggled to find women's tops that fit properly. The long sleeves and raglan style shoulders of the Halsey mean it fits perfectly - no cold wrists or shoulder seams sitting on my collarbone! The boat neck is also flattering and feminine and gives the top enough style that I can can wear it with jewelry for Zoom meetings and look professional.
This is my new favorite top- flexible for a variety of temperatures and looks sophisticated. Still looks nice under a jacket or zip up too. I want every color but am pacing myself! Just loose and long enough to be flattering with any pants or waistline. It’s just fantastic.
I love the beetroot color I purchased late in 2023. After wearing it a few months, I have determined that the neckline is really quite wide for me. I always wear a shirt underneath it, and if I did not, my bra straps would be showing on one shoulder or the other. Also, I consider tunic length something that is long, and covers all of my bum and comes down my thighs. This doesn't even cover um, my crotch area. So I am not terribly comfortable wearing it with leggings. Sometimes I throw on a jean skirt (over the leggings) and I feel more presentable/comfortable.
I tried a large, and it was way too big. The medium fit much better, but obviously upon reflection, still too wide at the neckline. I wear a Large in Ro dress, Stella tops and Cara tops. Medium in Cora dress, Summer and Camellia.
I love wearing this as a casual top with leggings. It skims really nicely over the midsection. Though I have also worn it belted over a dress. The shirts is very comfortable in different temps, feels great on, and is versatile. The sleeves are a bit long for me so I roll them up, which means I can't use the thumb holes but it works for me.
This is my third piece in Marine Blue and I am very happy with the choice. The description fits this as it is a bit loose and if I were not thinking I want to both wear alone and wear over things, I would have opted to try the XS (I am almost always a S). Not something I am likely to wear in our 90 degree heat (unlike my Marine Blue Maggie which I wear all the time in that heat), but I am looking forward to the cooler temps of fall and winter. Classes jetty material with a soft and comfy fit. Do wish they were a tad longer for those of us with long torso issues, but it is a very flattering cut!
