I was on the fence between Medium and Large. I went for the Medium based on the models and even though my bust is at the very top limit 38", I love the fit of the Medium and think the Large would have felt baggy. I wore this dress twice on my most recent trip, once to dinner and once all day for travel including the flight. One of the most noticeable thing, other than that it did not smell after these wears, was that it did seem to help my temperature level/regulation. Dinner was outside on a nice day, but in cotton I would typically have needed a long sleeve layer. Love the length and the pockets!
Bought three dresses recently. Long, XL with sleeves in black and bright coral. Then the sleeve less in purple haze. I love the length and the loose fit. I live in AZ and can wear them all season( add a scarf or jacket) Also good for travel
Super comfortable and flattering.
This is my third Wool& style of dress, and is my favorite so far! I sized down from L to M. The shoulders are a perfect fit, and the fabric flows nicely (from fitted at the shoulder and the top of the bust) downward over the waist and hips. The fabric is soft, and I feel like this is an easy style to wear. It will be easy to accessorize with jewelry or a shawl.
Following advice from some other reviewers, I sized down one size from the recommendation given by the guide. The fit is very good, but would probably be similarly good, if slightly more roomy, at my usual size. The color is vivid, the fabric is lightweight, smooth, soft, and pleasantly stretchy. As noted by some reviewers, the pockets are slightly visible, probably due to the weight of the fabric.
I opted for extra length to match a dress I already wear to my office regularly, but shorter would likely still have been suitable for a workplace. I haven’t tried it with tights or leggings yet to see how much static cling I get.
Un-accessorized and without shoes it does have a bit of a nightgown look, and I don’t own any belts that look the way I wanted it to, but it looks super good with a jacket or other accessories.
I’m looking forward to wearing it often as the weather gets more temperate, and considering a challenge!
