I have been hoping for a Wooland shirtdress! I love this sleeve for warmer weather, and would also like a version for cooler weather with a classic full length sleeve, ideally made like a shirt sleeve that can be rolled up.
This style would be ideal in one of the heftier fabrics so it’s not clingy and doesn’t show undergarment lines. I would probably try it first in a size up from my usual size, as a shirtdress sometimes looks cute when worn a bit blousy with a cute belt.
Side slits and pockets are preferred, too.
Above all, please — no elastic and no waist seam. A shirt dress that falls straight or even just a bit shaped or flared is incredibly versatile and can be belted or not, and can also be used as a duster over other things. Elastic and waist seams are always in the wrong place and feel awful. People who prefer elastic can easily add it.
I hope this comes out in a warm green, a salmon-rose, teal, and a nice neutral or two (grey or chocolate brown, perhaps). Heathered fabrics would be very nice in this (and almost any of the dresses!)

This dress looks great! I have been hoping for a shirt dress from you. A belted waist is a great idea instead of a cinch, but you could also put an elastic waist along with the belt. As for colors, please make this in black and some earth tones, like an oatmeal, a navy would be so versatile as well.

Please make this dress without a cinchable waistband! Include a fabric tie belt instead. Far less bulk around the waist than one with a cinchable waistband. The belt can then be placed at whatever waist height the wearer would like. Place the length lower than the knee so the wearer can blouse the waist if desired without causing the dress to be too short.

I've been hoping for a real shirt dress-- some sort of combination of Amalya, Clara, Florence.... it should have buttons the whole way down and up, a straight hem (at knee length or below), and a real shirt collar. A wrap around belt would be perfect.

Would love to see this with a long sleeve and in a true navy. I’d also like a version that is made for petites. I’d also prefer no cinched waist and less pleating.
