Job Description:

wool& is seeking a Creative Marketing Strategist to join our marketing team. You will report into Whitney, our Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies. This role and our organization are highly collaborative. There's opportunity to work closely with our graphic designers, merchants, and photography team as well. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in Portland, OR.

This job is about driving results for the business, which are new customers and revenue, so how well ads perform is as important as what they look like.
  • Digital & Social Native – You’re fluent in paid and organic social, content trends, and how consumers interact with brands online.
  • A Strong Communicator & Collaborator – You thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Creative Strategies – Concept and execute ad creative, and content initiatives that drive engagement and conversions. Work on optimizing Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and other developing channels
  • Creative Briefs - Develop insightful, inspiring briefs for our in-house creative team and creator partners to bring the brand to life across marketing touchpoints and unlock new audiences
  • Analytics - Measure and track campaign performance, looking at CAC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, and CPMs, to understand what creative and messaging drives success and use this to drive continuous improvement.
  • Growth - You’ll adopt a test-and-learn approach to optimize our ad strategy to drive acquisition and revenue. A/B test messaging, and iterate on what’s working.
  • Creator partners and influencers - Source creator partners that align with the brand and product high-quality ad content. Work with them on creating content - from concepting and writing the brief to executing on the relevant channels.
  • Content creation - Organize UGC shoots with our creators or conduct your own shoots with the team. Ideally you're not afraid to get on camera either.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience working with tools such as Shopify, Dropbox, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, Asana, and Figma.
  • Social media savvy with in-depth understanding of Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok capabilities.
