I recommend this dress all the time to travelers. Packs like a dream - literally even wadded into the bottom of a backpack, it's good to go! I purchased in 2020 and so far it's been with me to 20+ countries. It's taken me to Michelin starred restaurants, on boats or the beach as a swimsuit cover-up, funerals (my job), and every place in between. It's almost sisterhood-of-the-traveling-pants status as I've lent it out in lost luggage situations. Reversibility is key. I actually prefer it with the V in the back. It has held up beautifully for 4 years. While traveling I sink wash, at home I machine wash and air dry. We booked a last-minute trip to Croatia and all I texted my husband was "Cool. Can you set out my Secret Weapon Dress?" I knew that I could pack only the Brooklyn and be good to go. I packed two other dresses (including a Camilla Tank dress) but wore my Secret Weapon Dress three times instead. Wool&, thank you for this dress. Please always make it in case I lose it and so I can keep recommending this to others. Love you!

Love to wear the dress both ways depending on the occassion. It is comfortable and the green is a beautiful rich color.

The Sea Blue color is more subdued in real life than it looked on my laptop screen. It's still pretty, but not quite as vibrant as I was expecting. I love the faux wrap front, and big thanks to the community for suggesting hijab magnets for holding it closed in a professional context. I found a set that match the blue perfectly. At home and with my girlfriend, it looks great by itself, but I prefer the magnets for work. I also found that wearing it reversed, the neckline feels a little bit too high. I wish the boatneck side came down 1/2-1" lower so it didn't feel like it was rubbing on my neck. Thanks also to the community for suggesting the size-down for this style. I'm pretty generously endowed and even so, I think my usual XL would be gaping open in this style.

I'm only 5'4", and I purchased the Long. I wish it were another 2" longer. It doesn't feel inappropriate for my work, but I was just barely comfortable and felt like I was tugging it down every time I stood up in the office. I wore it out to a summer picnic concert yesterday and that was fine, except for trying to sit down on the ground, and get back up again.

This and a mystery dress were my first Wool& purchases. I really appreciate having the garment measurements, so that as I consider additional purchases, I can make sure they are longer than 40" in body length. I also really wish this dress had pockets, and will be checking carefully for that too.

I started with a large, then went to an XL and this size covers my chest better. I love this dress. I also bought a light blue long XL and that one works, too. This dress is professional and can also be worn with sneakers. It can be used for date night or with cowboy boots to dance in. I have a regular plum Brooklyn on its way now!
