This is my first Wool& dress so I can't compare it to the other styles, but I like it a lot. I picked it because I wanted a sleeveless black challenge dress and I didn't love the stitched pockets on the Sierra. I started out with a 1X based on the size chart, which was much too loose and long for me (5' 4"). I went down to an L based mainly on the length, but it worked perfectly. I've worn it in late summer so far and haven't had any issue with it being too hot.
This dress is very comfy to wear for hanging out and can be dressed up and dressed down.
I love the color of this dress, love the shape, and I can't believe it's wool. It's really just a beautifully simple dress than can be easily dressed up or down. I especially love that there are pockets - they aren't great for heavy things like a phone or a big set of keys, but pockets! I tend to like things a little less fitted and ordered an XL and am very happy with the sizing.
This dress is the perfect everyday dress. The fabric is wonderfully light, the pockets are so useful, and dog hair floats right off of it.
I waited a few weeks for the black to come back in stock and I’m glad I did! I’m not officially in the 100 day challenge but I find myself constantly grabbing this dress. It’s just easy to wear dressy or casual and the tencel is great for this muggy NJ summer. I just ordered the blue!
Lovely fabric, beautiful soft blue color. The drape of the dress is so comfortable and flattering. I can't give this 5 stars for just one reason. The major one is that the shoulders seem to be much more narrow and close together than in the photo. I am struggling to keep bra straps hidden, even wearing a racerback-style bra (I find racerback bras to be extremely uncomfortable anyway). So while the dress is very comfortable, I am not comfortable in it because of my bra; I would not have purchased it had I known. The second problem (much more minor) is that there is a problem with one of the pockets, which seems to be awkwardly constructed and kind of scrunches up at the top corner, so it doesn't lie flat. I would have asked for a replacement, except I had to hem the dress before I could wear it anywhere, and I noticed the pocket problem after I hemmed it. I do think it's a beautiful dress but I think the shoulder area is a poor design.
I love the feel of the fabric and it is a beautiful color! It is a thinner material than the Sierra and works very well as a top with other skirts.
Camilla is just the right weight for hot days and will transition into fall with leggings and a sweater. No bra strap problem with one bra but a little with another. I've worn on errands and to church with a lightweight sweater. My challenge dress was a large jewel green Rowena. I find the lines of Camilla a trifle more fitted and flattering. Please make in more colors.
The Canellia tank dress is perfect for summer and warmer spring and autumn days. It can go from work, to a dinner out, to a walk in the beach or even working in my garden. It’s never too hot for me, and I anticipate being able to layer a long or short sleeve T-short underneath on cooler days if I want. It washes up fabulously, retains its shape well and air dries in a few hours. Definitely my go-to summer dress! I purchased one in medium amd one is small. I could wear either, but am choosing to keep the medium only for a bit more room across the upper back, which is a bit wider than average for the rest of my build. (Photo of me in medium)
I ordered this dress after reading so many facebook posts from others doing the challenge. Though I'm not doing the challenge, I've worn the dress almost every day - just as it is since it's warm and I'm not adding jackets or t-shirts. I'm training a 13 week old lab puppy now and the pockets are perfect to hold treats and poop bags!! Looking forward to cooler weather so I can add jackets and leggings. I'm sure I'll order another wool& dress if I can only decide which one and which color!
