Am I the only one? I am not especially tall, but have long arms & legs (also short-wasted). Please make pants in lengths! I need a 33” inseam and HATE having cold ankles! These pants look wonderful, but I will not be ordering. Thank you at least for giving the information, but 27” inseam are practically capris on me!
Itchiest, most uncomfortable pants I’ve ever owned. Wish I could return them! My jeans are more comfortable than these. Wouldn’t recommend!
After reading the reviews I started out ordering an xxl but returned it quickly since there is just so much stretch in this fabric. The XL fits great. The pants don’t wrinkle and hold up to anything.
Waistband: Yes, the back waistband elastic does twist or fold over. In my case it’s because of my waist and rib age being so close together. Im an experienced sewer so I fixed the problem by stitching parallel lines from the top to the bottom of the waist band fully stretched out in three places to keep the elastic from folding over. If you don’t see try using some safety pins or just needle and thread to put a few strategic stitches in place to keep the elastic from folding.
Wool&: keep this fabric, it’s great.
I will be ordering the pants in black.
I very rarely write reviews. I have worn these pants almost every day since they arrived. They are fantastic. Comfortable, look good, warm. I bought them for a warm winter every day option.
I will agree with the comment that the elastic does not lay flat and may be nicer if it was not so wide.
I like these pants a lot. They fit great. But I can't say I love them because the back elastic waistband curls and won't lay flat. The curling/twisting definitely detracts from how comfortable they are otherwise. For such an expensive pair of pants, I would expect that this issue would have been resolved since so many customers have had the same complaint. (The only replies to the reviews mentioning this issue seem to be, "we've forwarded your comments to the team", but no other resolution - notably, no suggestions offered to the customers who have already paid $$$$ for these pants.) Disappointing that this is not being taken care of; I would not have bought them if I had realized this design flaw. Would appreciate hearing from wool& with any suggestions on how to fix this myself. (I sent an email a few weeks ago to ask for suggestions but no reply.)
