The perfect dress doesn’t ex……

I really love this dress. I’ve worn it about 50 days in a row so far. It’s flattering, comfortable, adjustable and the fabric if lovely and sturdy. I did a 100 day challenge in the Cora (LOVE that dress!) but by the end the dress had quite a few snags/runs/small holes and the armpits were worn out. This is why I wanted to try a woven dress.
Also, the fabric is beautiful and structured, I’m an average busted women and you can barely tell whether I’m wearing a bra or not and you don’t have to wear a slip.
Finally, it is a GREAT bike riding dress. I ride a bike as my main form of transportation year round and all I do is fasten the bottom together with a binder clip and I’m good to go for bike rides. No shorts needed and modest, comfortable coverage thanks to the wrap skirt.
The dress is very thoughtfully designed. I play the violin a lot (semi professionally) and was worried that the sleeves and structured fabric would limit my range of motion while playing. No problem there!
I hope wooland makes more woven items!oh, and I was worried the higher cotton content would make this dress stink faster and I haven’t noticed that personally.

Penny an amazing classic style!

This is a dress, a duster a coat!! It does it all with this blend of denim and merino!! It is a classic elevated style you throw on with anything and it looks amazing!! Went to the Medium for the shoulders, Size 6 in pants and Small tops. The only thing is the cuff on the arms is a bit small/tight.

BEST versatile dress for work or for hanging out.

I am 5'3" and 150 pounds (with a belly) with a small bust (34B) and I got this in a medium. I was worried the sleeve cuffs would be too tight, as they do not have a button to loosen them. However, they were perfect and aren't too tight over long-sleeve layers. They don't look too loose either, but I also have broader shoulders and biceps. The skirt length is approximately two inches below the bottom of my knee--it doesn't hit the leg like a tea-length dress. Also, the fabric and color hide the belly wonderfully from the front. Thankfully, the V-neck isn't too low, for those of us in the IBTC. I don't usually purchase wrap dresses because they tend to make me look pregnant or slip open when I walk/sit, but this one doesn't!

The fabric is softer and a lighter weight than I thought--it feels more like stretchy skinny jeans without the stretch (as stated in Wool&'s description, there is very little give on this fabric). It's definitely not like a stiff pair of jeans and there's still some movement upon wearing. The interior seams, particularly in the corners, are impeccable (I know how to sew basic garments and there is no way I'd sew corner seams like that on my own stuff). Given the construction and the classic styling, I expect this dress to last for a long time.

I wore this dress three days in a row when I first got it and I work in a corporate environment in SoCal. First day, I layered it over a white button down shirt with black tights and black flats. Second day, I wore it as a duster (tip: tuck the ties between the back of the dress and your back/booty and tie them in a bow there--the ties will stay out of the way) over red pants and a pink turtleneck with cream-colored flats. Third day, I wore it under a black turtleneck with black knee-high boots. This dress is so VERSATILE and the next thing I'm going to try is a dressy dinner, classical/ballet concert look.
