Love It!

I ordered this in the black color and loved it so much I went on waitlist for the blue. Sadly, when it came back in stock the wrong size was shipped to me. When I contacted customer service to correct the error, my size was yet again sold out. I was hoping to have both for a 2 week trip to Europe in September, but alas, that is looking unlikely. Regardless, this skirt is wonderful and definitely worth the investment. I have a smaller waist and wider hips (size 14), but not much belly pooch, and this smooths my hips nicely without being too clingy.

Perfect pencil skirt

This skirt is so classy! I love how sharp it looks with a blouse and a pair of heels. Or you can be a little more trendy and wear white sneakers and a lightweight t-shirt. I originally ordered the XS based on my Rossos and Culottes, but had to exchange for a small because the XS was a little too fitted for work. Love the weight. and cut of the fabric!

Fine not super special

The fabric is sturdy. The length is good unfortunately the hips are a little bit too much for me so I’m going to wash it and see if it straightens out a little bit to make more of a straighter fit. I bought my usual size and that seems fine except for the hips.

My new uniform, lol

I’ve bought 10+ different items from wool& and this is by far my favorite! The fit is perfect, the slit hits me at the perfect spot above my knee. I’ve had it 3 days and worn it all 3, I guess I’m doing a challenge without planning it, haha. Wore it business casual with heels one day, with t-shirt and sneakers the other 2, it looked great both ways! Will be perfect with tights in the winter. My only regret is that I wish I bought it sooner and that I grabbed a blue one when they were available! Sad to see it looks like it’s being discontinued when I’d buy one in every color. Get one while you still can!

Classy, comfy and 4 seasons (if not humid)

I’m 5’3” and was 150+ pounds when I ordered a blue, large, I think? I’d size up, as a recommendation, in case it goes in hot washer and got dryer. I’ve got a more narrow waist and a big l, not wide but more “outtie” butt. Skirt looks good (better) despite 10-15 lb weight loss. Delighted the stretch waist band was wide enough to not roll, but not so big or chunky you have to cover waist up. When heavier, my stomach did pooch out. The fabric is thicker than one might like at first, but not stiff or hot. In fact fabric hides panty lines and is 100% opaque. The blue is almost a neutral color, pairs with alot and I actually now love and appreciate the dusty dark cornflower blue (not navy), color far more than I expected when I first glanced. Material is not itchy on bare skin, not thin or shiny or pill-y after normal machine cool wash and dryer to almost dry/damp (then I air dry for an hour). Material doesn’t wrinkle. The skirt fits as I hoped, just below my knee bones, and looks great with bare legs, tights, bare legs, boots or or flat sandals. I’ve worn Sketcher slip-ons that have a NON platform 3/4 “ sole, Blundstones, Dansko clogs, and Taos flat buckled sandals and get frequent compliments on this skirt.
