I'm not kidding. I have an awful time finding underwear that fits. I have spent buckets of money on various brands, wool and otherwise over the years, to no avail.
The Spruce Boyshort stays where it should, is fully lined, has good coverage and wears well. I waited to add this review until I washed them at least 10 times. They have retained their support just fine and are still wearing well.
You can see in pics why I have a hard time with underwear staying where it should. My boop-boop, makes for constant wedgies which are now a thing of the past. Best boyshorts I've ever had for my shape. You can see the outline barely as I am wearing very thin Swift leggings.
I have only good things to say, and I love this green on underwear.
These boyshorts are great!
I am between sizes and my first pair I sized up. They were comfy but didn’t stay in place as well as I hoped.
So I got a a second pair and sized down. They are perfect! Nice coverage, stays in place.
In the Roam bikinis I size up to XL and that’s the perfect size for me, but in the boyshorts I prefer large.
The fabric on this whole Roam line is perfect. I have tried quite a few merino underwear and bras from other brands and the wool& ones are by far my favorite. Great fit and fabric.
This boyshort feels buttery soft and fits like a true boyshort. Boyshorts aren't for everyone but if you like the boyshort fit - this one is for you! It fits great - with perfect coverage. The elastic waistband is so flexible yet durable you barely feel it. Highly recommend these boyshorts!
Love the boy shorts. Very soft.
My Roam boy shorts - currently drying on the hanger in the bathroom after hand-washing for the 4th night since I got them.
I haven’t worn many boy shorts style underwear, as I’ve never found them to be very comfortable for a number of reasons. Wool& nailed it on with the cut of these, though! I chose a small size, based on the measurements Wool& provided. I love the cheeky cut, which doesn’t really show any lines. They don’t bunch or gather anywhere - they just stay where they belong (I love this in an undergarment). The fabric is soft and smooth. It isn’t too stretchy, but it gives just enough. It is so breathable and moisture wicking which makes a big difference vs wearing synthetic underwear (especially at the gym). There is NO pinching elastic band - this is why I’m hand washing them to wear again! I really like these Roam boy shorts and will be adding more to the rotation.
