Just received Rowena, and I like it a lot! I could easily wear it everyday in the winter, but its starting to get hot in the Southwest, so I won't be able to go the next 100 days in these long sleeves. (I'm considering the 100 day challenge when my back-ordered Sierra arrives.) The material is also lovely and I plan to order in some other colors when they come back in stock.

This dress goes with everything!

I've been wanting to try this dress for ages and finally got around to ordering one. The fabric is soft and light but warm, the color (cool olive) is very nice too. I carefully considered the measurements before buying - by bust size I'm on the cusp between xs and s, but blow the waist I'm more of a size m, and I don't like a tight fit, so I chose the s which was perfect. Also the regular length is great for wearing with leggings - if I were planning to wear it bare-legged, I think I'd want the longer length.

Great dress! Easy to wear and spot clean. Love the low maintenance of wool, especially not having to wash it often. Just rinse the armpits and air overnight. Bought the regular length since the long in the color that I wanted was was sold out. My next dress will be a long since this is a bit short of your moving around (even things like reaching up for a shelf at the grocery store).

I first tried the Rowena in small (both regular and long). They looked bulky and frumpy on me, so unflattering. I recently tried a xs (long)... close but didn't love it. I got my Rowena xs in dusty blue the other day and I am in love! It is the most comfortable, beautiful dress I own. I'm so glad that I did not give up and finally found the right size. I think that the shoulders matter the most with sizing in the Rowena. I have narrow shoulders but am otherwise curvy. For reference, I am an x-small in the sophia, a small in the sierra and laurel, a medium in the mara.

What I loved about this dress: the material, color (dusty blue), and quality. And it was very easy to return. What didn’t work for me: the style. It was clinging to the leggings I wore when I tried it on (so no swing in this “swing” dress) and it emphasized my hips more than I’d like. It’s versatile, but most of the ways I tried styling it didn’t look great on my slim figure. I couldn’t get rid of the “frumpy” factor. I’m looking for a dress that feels good and looks great; one I want to wear over and over again. This is not that dress. I’d like to try again with a different style. Really hoping they bring back the Clara shirt dress!

Love this dress! Saving it for winter adventures but I know I’ll wear this a lot!!

Usually dresses make me sad, because they look pretty on the models and hanging on the racks, but don't look great on me. This dress, however, made me smile the first time I saw my reflection in the mirror with it on. It hung just right! It is new for me to dress with leggings, and cover-ups, sweaters, vests, belts... But I love it! I didn't intend on becoming a more "put together" type of lady, but that is what is happening. It is a fun transformation that doesn't require a big budget. ❤️

I've been waiting to give this dress a try and finally did once I saw the green marled color! I'm so glad I did. The dress shipped very quickly and after an initial wash I followed the instructions for wear with non-aluminum deodorant and gave it a try. I love it. It fits beautifully. I was concerned, because according to the size chart I should have ordered a Medium, but I've found size charts are generally off, so ordered my usual Small. So glad I did. My chest is 36" across (waist 28"), and I still have plenty of room in the Small through the chest area. The small fits perfectly and it looks great. This is a very flattering dress, the length is just right, and after a full day of wear, no smells. I'm not going for the 100 day challenge, but do intend to see how it does over several days of wear between washes. The fabric is lightweight yet it kept me warm on a coolish day.

I first ordered the black rowena l/s and then the blue. I was waiting until I washed them before reviewing. I love the fit, the look, and am very happy with my purchases. They washed up beautifully. I hung them to dry and then lightly steamed to remove the wrinkles. I live in a very cold climate so I have been wearing them over a long sleeved shirt. I have ordered the short sleeve rowena in all three colors for summer and am sure they will be perfect. I wish there was some brighter colors to get-wine or cranberry and possibly teal, but otherwise I love them. Not ready to do the 100 day challenge but I am definitely wearing them several days a week. I can hardly wait until I start traveling again. This will be a perfect item to pack for both casual and dressy events.
