Great color and fit but wrinkles easily

LOVE the color and I got an XS because I wanted a more snug, almost baselayer fit. I'm pleased with the fit and super soft fabric as well! The only downside is that the fabric wrinkles super easily. I've owned several brands of wool shirts and clothing before but this is the first time I've run into that problem. Huge bummer for me because I was hoping this could be a really low-maintenance travel shirt.

Thanks for the honest review. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing excessive wrinkling with your Sloan! While merino wool is naturally wrinkle-resistant, we do have some tips for getting rid of those initial wrinkles that we'll send over via email shortly. We appreciate you sticking with us!

Shoulders too narrow

As one other reviewer commented, it fits odd in the shoulders, way too narrow. The sleeves are a touch short too. It otherwise fits great and I would love to buy more colors of this shirt if it fit better. Upsizing may be too large in the torso. Please let me know if this shirt is ever updated.

My first but not my last!

My first merino shirt and I love it! This fabric is lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy. The fit is comfortable, and I love the redwood color!

Love this top!

I love the redwood color for its versatility. Very soft shirt. I'm an XS in all my Wool& dresses except for a S in Chloe. After reading reviews, I debated between a S or M. But I think S was the right call, it's a comfortable fit - not overly loose or tight.

I buy merino shirts for travel and hiking, and until now have mostly bought only Smartwool. I read that Sloan was more fitted than other tops, so went up a size and that works for me. I find the colors a bit muted and dusty, so unless some bright jewel tones are added, I probably won't buy any more of this particular style. As long as I'm not hiking, and therefore sweating, I will wear this shirt about 3 or 4 times before washing. I know I could go longer, but I choose not to test the limits.
