I read all the reviews and realized that this is the top for me. A few reviews said that the sleeves were not long enough (I have VERY short arms) and some said that the body is not long enough (I am 5ft 1 on a good day}. This top feels wonderful and the fit is perfect.
I sized up to XL based on reviews, and the top was too wide in the armpits and bust. The sleeves were plenty long enough, but it did not fit properly. I exchanged for L, my chart size by bust measurement, and the top fits great except for the sleeves. The sleeves are about 1" too short for comfort. My wingspan is 5'7", same as my height, and I need a little more coverage on my wrists for a top I'll wear when it is cool out. Otherwise, it would have been a keeper. For those of you who have found the same, the 100% wool Sloan has longer sleeves per the chart. My measurements are 39-34-41, and I'd love an option with longer sleeves!
I bought a size small, which is my standard Wool& size. The size chart says sleeves are 29.75 but I measured mine at 23.75, a full 6 inches shorter. It looks ridiculous on me. Length is 24" which is only .5 shorter than the size chart, but some of us really need every bit we can get. 2 stars because as always, the fabric and color are lovely.
Thank you for your review! We are glad to hear you love our fabric! Please keep an eye out for an email from our team - the sleeves should not be shorter than stated on the size chart, so we would like to look into this further with you. Thank you for your time!
I had ordered the large originally, but at 69 years old, I just didn’t like how slim the fit was in the sleeves and body. So I returned it and got an extra large. It’s a fuller shape and I’m really pleased with it!! I’ve been wearing it almost every day! The material is very nice, comfortable and soft.
love this shirt, a solid base layer that looks great with an open cardigan or button down. originally I read the reviews and took the recommendation to size up and got a L - not a good plan, the proportions were all wrong. exchanged for a M and it fits very well, not too tight at all. the fabric is a medium/light weight and the forest green color is quite dark. sleeves are a tad short on my long arms but it doesn't bug me because I'm too happy to be wearing and re-wearing (like every day the last couple weeks) wool! note that I wear a medium in Ro and probably could get away with a small...
