I bought the purple (Iris?) Sylvie. I feel like a princess in it. It’s the perfect party dress. It is a little low on me, and when I wore it to work I felt a bit self conscious. To be fair I’m very busty. But I know I look good when my husband says, “Oh, don’t you look pretty!”

I was hesitant to purchase this dress, but I’m so glad I did. As a Pear-shaped XXL/2X/1X, I was worried the gathered skirt would emphasize my already ample hips. It doesn’t at all. In fact, other than Brooklyn, this is probably the most flattering fit for me. I haven’t worn her yet, but once school starts again, this teacher will have Silvie on heavy rotation. The purple is not a color I normally choose for myself, but it is magnificent!

It was cute but too big. Returning.

I was a little unsure about this style on my body type (curvy girl), and I'm so glad I tried it. It's a great length and a gorgeous color! (The iris blue is just plain stunning, a fabulous deep purple.) I also think that the sleeves will make it a great all-season dress. I wore it to a conference last week in 100 degree heat, moving in and out of air conditioning all day, and I was comfortable the whole time despite the fact that I tend to be a slimy, sweaty person when the weather gets warm here on the East Coast. The pockets are lovely, the skirt is swingy while the top fits nicely, and I was comfortable in the scoop neck in a professional setting. (Added bonus: my partner says it gives Regency vibes.)

Beautiful dress, unfortunately didn’t work for me I think because I just prefer the cut of their Fiona dress better, which hits at my natural waist.
